In 2019,the ordinary high school textbook "Ideology and Politics" organized by the Ministry of Education officially put into use in Yunnan Province instead of the original standard experimental textbook "Ideology and Politics" of the ordinary high school curriculum.Compared with the old textbook,the new textbook has changed in terms of curriculum objectives,course structure,course content,etc.,of which the change in textbook illustration is a particularly obvious part.Looking at the four compulsory textbooks in high schools,illustrations account for a large part of the textbooks,and in-depth research and effective use of illustrations of high school ideological and political compulsory textbooks are undoubtedly of great significance for implementing the standard concept of the curriculum,cultivating the core literacy of the discipline and carrying out teaching activities.This paper selects the illustrations in the compulsory ideological and political textbooks of senior high school as the research object,uses the research methods of text analysis,literature analysis,questionnaire survey and interview,and studies from the following three parts according to the idea of "raising questions-Investigation and analysis-countermeasure research".On the basis of literature research and analysis of textbook illustrations,the first part discusses in detail the types,characteristics and main values of illustrations in high school ideological and political compulsory textbooks.The second part in combination with the results of the questionnaire and interview,analysis summed up the textbook illustrations using the existing problems in the teaching,involving the problems existing in the textbook illustration itself,illustrations and the problems existing in the teachers' teaching students to learn the problems existing in the use of textbook illustrations,and learning from students of illustrations are too passive,teacher's teaching method as a whole and poor use,This paper discusses the factors influencing the use of illustrations in compulsory high school ideological and political textbooks from four aspects: the comprehensive quality of teachers needs to be improved and the negative impact of network media on teaching.The third part puts forward the application strategies from three aspects:optimizing the selection and use of textbook illustrations,cultivating students' habit and ability of autonomous learning illustrations,and improving teachers' awareness and level of using textbook illustrations,and explains the relevant examples combined with the contents of textbook illustrations.To sum up,the research on the application of illustrations in compulsory high school ideological and political textbooks aims to deeply tap and study the curriculum resources of textbook illustrations and improve the effect of high school ideological and political teaching.Through the research of this paper,it is found that the factors affecting the use of textbook illustrations are diversified.Therefore,in teaching practice,on the basis of optimizing textbook illustrations,students should study carefully,teachers should use them effectively,and work together from all aspects,so as to display the due value of textbook illustrations.
