The quality of educational development has a profound impact on the development of a country.A country with good education development will cultivate a high quantity and quality of talents.A country with a large quantity and high quality of talents will affect the competition in the comprehensive national strength.Therefore,to develop our country,we must attach importance to the development of education,give priority to the development of education,and constantly promote the reform of education.In particular,socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era,and China’s education has also stepped into a new era from a major educational power.In order to meet the requirements of the new era and realize the educational goal of cultivating the new man of the era who takes on the great responsibility of national rejuvenation,it is necessary to promote the reform and update the contents of textbooks.In 2017,the Ministry of Education issued the Ideological and Political Curriculum Standards for Ordinary Senior High Schools,and the reform of ideological and political textbooks for senior high schools in China officially began to explore the construction of teaching materials more suitable for the ideological and political teaching in senior high schools in the new era.The new textbook is a new exploration of ideological and political teaching in senior high school.This subject adopts the methods of comparative research,literature research.It is analyzed that the transformation of the old textbooks from old to new is promoted under the background of the change of The Times,the reform of the ideological and political curriculum and the correction of the shortcomings of the old textbooks.The comparison of new and old textbooks is mainly made from the aspects of compiling basis,teaching material structure,teachimaterial content and teaching material presentation mode.Through the comparison of the old and new textbooks,this paper tries to summarize the four characteristics of the new textbooks:focusing on the core accomplishment of the subject,highlighting the subjectivity of students,emphasizing the practicality and attaching importance to the comprehensiveness.Finally,through the comparison between the old and the new textbooks and the analysis of the characteristics of the changes in the new textbooks,the paper discusses the enlightenment of the comparison between the new and the new textbooks to the teaching,that is,the teachers should deeply study the Xi Jinping Thought of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era,change the concept of the teaching materials,change the teaching methods and flexibly use the teaching materials.
