At present,the society is in the information age.The fragmented reading of secondary vocational students is serious,and most students rarely read the whole book,which leads to students’ lack of good reading habits.In July 2020,the Ministry of Vocational Education organized a seminar on the content of the new curriculum standard for secondary schools(2020),with the theme of "the whole curriculum standard for secondary schools: 2020".The current reading situation of secondary vocational students and the new standards of Chinese reading teaching at the national level require teachers to change the traditional reading teaching method and implement the whole book reading special teaching method.This thesis mainly studies the strategy of Chinese whole book reading teaching in secondary vocational schools.This thesis is mainly divided into three parts: introduction,body and conclusion.This paper is mainly divided into three aspects: introduction,body and conclusion.The introduction mainly explains the research origin,research status,research significance and research methods of the subject.The main body is divided into three parts.The first part is a theoretical overview of the whole book reading topic teaching.This paper expounds the connotation of whole book reading and special subject teaching,the particularity of secondary vocational Chinese compared with ordinary high school,and analyzes the necessity of whole book reading special subject teaching in secondary vocational Chinese classroom.The second part is the investigation and problem analysis of the current situation of the whole book reading special teaching of Chinese in secondary vocational schools.The questionnaire survey and interview methods are mainly adopted,and the teachers and students of Huairou vocational school where I am located are taken as the survey objects.The problems found by the students are low interest in reading,single number and type of reading,lack of good reading methods,urgent need for teachers’ reading guidance,and teachers’ understanding of the special teaching of reading the whole book is not in place,The school does not pay attention to the training and implementation of the whole book reading special teaching of Chinese,and there is no clear evaluation standard for the whole book reading,and analyzes the causes of the existing problems,so as to pave the way for the next step to put forward reasonable implementation strategies.The third part mainly puts forward reasonable suggestions for the above problems.In terms of implementation strategies,it is proposed to adhere to the principle of career development,strictly enforce the teaching cycle and process,select the reading materials of the whole book,create a good reading atmosphere,skillfully design reading activities,encourage students to discuss and share,and provide effective reading guidance;In terms of implementation guarantee,it is proposed to strive to create a scholarly campus,continuously improve the quality of teachers,actively develop school-based courses,establish a perfect evaluation system and so on.
