"Church,diligent practice and regular competition" is the requirement of school physical education in the new era."Learning","practice" and "competition" are the core components of physical education curriculum.However,in the actual school physical education teaching practice,the learning and practice of technology and tactics occupy most of the physical education curriculum time.At the same time,it places too much emphasis on the standardization of technology and tactics and ignores the competitive,entertaining,fitness and educational value of sports itself.The lack of "competition" makes the physical education curriculum boring and leads to the low enthusiasm of students’ sports participation,There is a phenomenon of "like physical education but don’t like physical education".Sports competition itself has the function of strengthening the body,cultivating sports interest and forming sports habits.The reality is that many students have received physical education courses in school for many years,and may not have participated in a class or inter school sports competition.If they do not participate in sports competition,it is difficult to achieve the overall goal of physical education teaching.Therefore,how to excavate and make use of the original characteristics and value of competition,implement the curriculum standards of physical education and health,deepen the integration of physical education and education,master good basic sports knowledge theory and sports skills in a limited time,and improve the quality of physical education teaching is a problem that must be considered.Based on the requirements of deepening the integration of physical education and school physical education in the new era,aiming to implement the spirit of relevant national documents,through the interpretation of the curriculum standard of physical education and health in senior high school(2017 Edition),Based on the content of high school physical education teaching,the concept of "promoting learning by competition" is applied,and the path of promoting classroom teaching by sports competition is explored.The combination of school-competition is based on classroom teaching and extra-curricular competition activities,with the goal of developing students’ comprehensive literacy.Different types of extra-curricular competition activities are set up according to the content of classroom teaching.As an extension of physical education classroom teaching,it expands the time and space of classroom learning.Expand student sports participation and coverage so that more students are involved in sports.The combination of learning and competition combines the "learning" in the classroom with the "competition" outside the classroom to realize the integration of inside and outside the classroom.Classroom teaching lays the foundation for the competition.The competition promotes students to master skills,improve physical fitness and cultivate sports interest,forming teaching as the foundation,competition promotes improvement,and comprehensively improves the quality of physical education.The research is carried out using the method of literature materials,expert interviews,questionnaire surveys,experimental methods and mathematical statistics.The experimental objects are the second grade students of Changchun No.11 Senior High School,and the experimental class and the control class are randomly selected from the sports option classes offered by the school.,the experimental group used the concept of "promoting learning through competition" to carry out after-school competition activities,and implemented the combination of learning and competition mode of teaching,and the control group did not carry out any intervention.After the teaching experiment,the following conclusions are drawn.(1)The physical fitness test indicators of the experimental group and the control group have been significantly improved,but there is no significant difference in the physical fitness test indicators of the experimental group and the control group,indicating that short-term teaching experiments are difficult to cause physical fitness of students Significant change.(2)Combination of school competitions Combine classroom physical education with extracurricular competitions,make full use of competitions to mobilize students’ enthusiasm and participation,and play a significant role in improving interest in sports learning.(3)The Combine learning with competition can expand the coverage of students participating in competitions,increase the time and frequency of students’ practice,improve the practice effect by using competitions,help students improve and consolidate technical movements,and have a positive role in improving sports skills.(4)In terms of final exam scores,the experimental group with a score above 80 accounted for 56.13% of the total,those with a score below 70 accounted for 12.65% of the total,while the control group with a score above 80 accounted for 50.6% of the total,and those with a score below 70 accounted for 50.6% of the total.Accounting for23.67% of the total,the combination of academic competitions has a significant effect on improving the final exam results.
