The Application Of Action Learning In The Primary And Secondary School Teachers' Web Training

Education is the driving force to the social and economic development. The international competition in the new century includes the economic competition, science and technology competition. After all, it is talent competition, which relies on education. High-quality teachers ensure the improvement of education. Continuing education is the best way to improve the quality of teachers. There are obvious problems in the traditional way of teachers'training. With the development of network, web training begins to use in teachers'training. It is possible to find a new mode of teachers'training by network. Action learning is an effective way in staffs'training in companies. Now it plays a role in the field of education. The studies of using action learning in teachers'training have been carried out in all levels.The theoretical foundations of this study are the cycle of experience theory, knowledge theory, learning theory, adult education theory and group dynamics theory. The current situation of teachers'web training is analyzed by a questionnaire survey. This survey includes teachers'opinions on web training, the aim of web training, communications between teachers in web training and opinions of action learning. Most teachers hope that what they learn in web training can put into practice. They want to learn something through communications with other teachers. Long-term training is also expected by teachers. The fourth chapter explains why action learning can be used in teachers'training. They promote each other. Action learning promotes teachers'professional development in many ways, and teachers can learn for a life time by action learning. Web not only provides environment, resources and tools, but also supports group study. The last chapter is about web platform of action learning and how action learning is carried on in this platform.
