Imagery is an artistic image in which the creative subject gives the objective objects subjective emotions and makes them carry the emotions of the creative subject.The poet selects and reprocesses external objective things according to the need of emotional,Thus arranging and combining imagery to complete the emotional value of the support,and then creates the mood to set the emotional tone of the whole poem.The artistic images presented by the imagery are the poet’s choice and simplification of a certain aspect of the external world,and are subject to the constraints and limitations of the laws of movement of the internal world of the mind,which,though an objective presentation of the external world,is a unique expression of the poet’s emotional value.Based on the characteristics of landscape and idyllic poems and their imagery in the unified middle school language textbook,this paper explores the teaching method of landscape and idyllic poems with imagery as the breakthrough by investigating and analyzing the deficiencies in teaching landscape and idyllic poems and the imagery problem.This paper is divided into five chapters.Chapter 1 is the introduction,which summarizes the origin of the research,the current status of the research and the research method.Chapter 2 introduces the concept of imagery,The artistic characteristics of imagery,and the concept of landscape and garden poetry and its imagery characteristics,providing a theoretical basis for the research on the issue of imagery in landscape and garden poetry conducted in the text.Chapter 3 starts from the selected landscape and garden poems in the unified middle school language textbooks,and systematically composes the characteristics of the selected landscape and garden poems in the unified middle school language textbooks as well as the diverse themes and rich poetic feelings in the landscape and garden poems,and summarizes and analyzes the imagery and rich imagination and poetic feelings in the landscape and garden poems from the imagery nouns of objects,time and place.Chapter 4 summarizes and analyzes the shortcomings and problems in the teaching of landscape poetry through the results of the questionnaire survey,as well as the imagery problems reflected in the teaching of imagery appreciation,which provides a basis for the proposed teaching method and data for this paper.Chapter 5 seeks to explore the teaching method of imagery in landscape and garden poems from three aspects of imagery,mainly from the way of refining words in imagery to perceive the specific content of the poem,from the rhetorical techniques of imagery to expand imaginative thinking,and from the way of combining imagery to perceive the poet’s emotion.
