In the era of knowledge economy,the improvement of national thinking ability,especially higher order thinking ability,is of great significance to the development of society.As a kind of higher order thinking ability,critical thinking ability has received great attention in the educational circle.The "Chinese Curriculum Standards for Ordinary Senior High Schools" issued in 2017 put forward that "development and improvement of thinking" is one of the four components of core literacy of Chinese subject.This shows that Chinese courses assume the responsibility of cultivating students' thinking ability.Reading teaching is an important way to cultivate students' critical thinking ability.It is necessary and feasible to integrate the cultivation of critical thinking ability into novel reading teaching.This study adopts the methods of literature research and case analysis to put forward the teaching idea of cultivating students' critical thinking ability in high school fiction teaching.The research is mainly divided into four parts: First,on the basis of clarifying the concept of critical thinking ability,the relevant theoretical achievements of critical thinking ability training are sorted out,the two-dimensional structure of critical thinking ability is determined,and the teaching methods of dialogue,such as discussion and question and answer,are integrated as the theoretical basis of the research.Secondly,it discusses the internal relationship between reading teaching and critical thinking ability cultivation in senior high school,focusing on the characteristics of thinking development of middle school students,the necessity and feasibility of critical thinking ability cultivation in senior high school reading teaching.Thirdly,the theoretical basis of reading teaching research is explored: hermeneutics,reception aesthetics,metacognition theory,thinking visualization principle and dialogue theory are used as the theoretical support of teaching conception;Finally,the author puts forward the conception of novel teaching: the design of preview and the refinement of the result are constructed.Question and answer dialogue design based on preview;The teaching mode of non-rationality and its avoidance in novel reading teaching is the core of three key links.Case studies are also provided.The research emphasizes that students' subjectivity should be fully respected and teachers' leading role should be brought into play when applying patterns in fiction teaching.Teachers should provide practical fields for students to learn critical thinking cognitive skills and critical thinking emotional tendencies.
