With the wide application of information technology in the field of education and teaching,the channels of text interpretation and meaning acquisition become wider.Multi-modal discourse analysis has gradually replaced the traditional single discourse analysis,and has developed into a combination of language,image,sound,touch and other forms through language transmission.The teaching of ancient poetry is different from the teaching of novels and prose,and has unique characteristics of beauty of rhyme,picture and artistic conception.Therefore,the utilization and interpretation of multiple information sources can better promote students’ learning of ancient poetry.The existing research results were integrated by referring to relevant literature.According to the framework of multi-modal discourse analysis,multi-modal discourse symbols are divided into auditory modal symbols,visual modal symbols,body modal symbols and other modal symbols.The components of each modal symbol are refined,the secondary elements of each modal symbol are analyzed,and the research framework is built based on these elements.At the same time,it goes deep into the classroom teaching of ancient poetry,paying attention to the five links of reciting rhymes,knowing words,understanding images,observing emotions and analyzing application in ancient poetry,and analyzes the teaching of ancient poetry with the research framework.Observation and analysis are made on these five links and the frequency of using multi-modal symbols in the five teaching links of ancient poetry is counted.based on the analysis,the frequency of using different modal symbols in different modal symbols in different links is explored.Finally,based on the current situation,the improvement strategies and teaching suggestions of ancient poetry in primary school language form the perspective of multi-modal discourse analysis are proposed.The teaching status quo of ancient poetry was explored based on lesson analysis method,interview method,document analysis method and other methods,The teaching status quo of ancient poetry was analyzed combined with teacher interview.From the perspective of multi-modal discourse analysis,the existing problems in the teaching of ancient Chinese poetry in primary schools include five aspects: First,the lack of rhyming.It mainly focuses on the lack of teachers’ multi-modal consciousness and body modal resources.Second,comb the biased words.It is manifested in the biased use of multi-modal subjects and the biased positioning of ancient poetry teaching.Three,the leakage of image.Including the omission of the use of multi-modal resources and the omission of the interpretation of similar mages;Four,the poetry of the mistake.It is manifested as the error of using modal resources and the error of poetry emotion presentation.Five,the use of poetry.This is mainly reflected in the lack of practical demonstration and feedback of poetry application.The reason is that the improper use of multi-modal discourse symbols makes the ancient poetry deviate in the process of conveying artistic conception,thus reducing the teaching effect of ancient poetry.Therefore,in order to change the teaching status quo,multi-modal symbol resources need to cooperate with each other,specifically including the following measures:One is to fill resources,chanting poetry.Therefore,it is necessary to improve teachers’ awareness of using multi-modal symbols and strengthen the use of body modal resources in the recitation of rhymes.Second,correct bias and understand poetry.Third,the use of resources,the school should be developed;Four is correct fallacy,appreciate poetry.We should distinguish the modes according to the content,pay attention to the authenticity of ancient poetry teaching,and innovate multi-modal teaching resources closely to The Times in the teaching process.Fifth,the coordination of resources,the implementation of poetry.Strengthen students’ presentation in class,enhance the feedback frequency of using multi-modal resources,enhance the feedback frequency of language use,and expand multi-modal teaching resources.In a word,it is necessary to coordinate existing resources and exploit undiscovered multi-modal resources to promote ancient poetry teaching resources.
