Middle school is a critical period for the rapid physical and mental development of individuals.They not only have to face huge learning pressure,but also have to deal with various physiological and psychological puzzles in the growth,so they need to pay special attention to their mental health development.As an important part of positive psychology,positive psychological quality contributes positive power to individual superior growth and personality perfection.One of the important systems of happiness,psychological happiness,emphasizes the development of individual psychological function,can accurately reflect the level of individual mental health;Social support and understanding is individual actively adapt to the social environment,absorbing social resources,in the face of other people's respect and support can take the initiative to feel and understand the positive emotional experience,these three factors is an important approach to understand the development of middle school students' social,social support and related research confirmed with positive quality,there is relationship between psychological well-being.Therefore,this study introduced perceived social support as a mediator to further explore the internal relationship between positive psychological qualities and psychological well-being.In addition,due to the difference of economic development level and educational resources between urban and rural areas,the development of psychological quality of middle school students will be different.Therefore,this study mainly adopts the questionnaire survey method,using the Chinese Youth Positive Psychological Quality Scale,the Comprehending Social Support scale and the psychological well-being scale as the research tools,and carries out a sample survey on the middle school students in Tianjin,Jinan and Tai 'an,and a total of 925 valid questionnaires were obtained.Firstly,the development level of middle school students in each dimension of the three factors should be investigated.Then,the similarities and differences between urban and rural groups in the development of each factor should be compared.Finally,the relationship between the three factors of middle school students should be analyzed.The results are as follows:(1)The development level of middle school students in the three factors of positive psychological quality,psychological well-being and understanding of social support is above average at present.In the positive psychological quality,the development level of self-discipline dimension is the best,and the competence dimension is the lowest;In psychological well-being,the development level of personal growth dimension is the best,and the self-acceptance dimension is the lowest.Understanding of social support,other people support dimension development level is the best,family support dimension is the lowest.(2)Urban and rural middle school students show different dimensions and levels of differences in grade,gender and whether they are the only child.In the positive psychological quality,the score of rural middle school students is obviously higher than that of urban students.There are significant differences in autonomy,control environment and personal growth in psychological well-being.In the understanding of social support,there are significant differences in the dimension of other people's support between urban and rural areas.(3)There are significant positive correlations among positive psychological quality,perceived social support,psychological well-being and total scores of middle school students,and the three factors are closely related.In addition,competence,self-confidence,care and compassion have positive predictive effects on understanding social support and psychological well-being.(4)Understanding that social support plays a partial mediating role in the relationship between positive psychological quality and psychological well-being.The results show that there is still room for improvement in competency,self-acceptance and understanding of family support of middle school students.Urban and rural students of the same age in positive psychology quality,realize the various dimensions of social support and psychological well-being exists different degree of difference,the students in rural areas in the development of three factors part dimensions are better than students in urban areas,and improve the quality of the students' positive,and enhance student's ability to understanding and feeling of social support,Can significantly promote the improvement of psychological well-being.
