| Biological learning style refers to the tendency of students’ learning style and learning strategy with distinct personality characteristics in the process of biological learning,and can exert great influence on the learning effect.Under the concept of the new curriculum reform,it emphasizes the subject status of students’ learning and advocates paying attention to the development of students’ personality.Biology learning style happens to be an important manifestation of students’ differentiation in the process of biology learning.In order to developing students’ learning potential and promoting the all-round development of students,teachers should focus on students’ learning style differences,start from the teaching strategy and bring the learning style theory into daily in biological teaching so as to promoting the students’ comprehensive ability according to their aptitude,giving full play to the advantages of students learning style and efficiently completing the teaching goal,promote the students’ comprehensive ability.This research adopts the learning style scale of professor Reid,modifies the content of learning style scale so as to making the questionnaire more consistent with the practice of junior high school biology teaching,investigates students both in xining city high school and junior high school of biological learning style preferences from different gender,grade,and schools deeply,and analyses its reason preliminarily.On this basis,matching strategies and mismatching strategies were designed for different biological learning styles,such as visual,auditory,tactile,kinesthetic,individual,group and mixed.This research enrolled two classes which I have teached as experimental research objects.The experimental class students were treated with teaching strategies based on biological learning style differences and the control classes were treated with regular teaching.Through the student’s academic performance,biological interest in learning,learning strategy transformation analysis based on biological teaching experiment effect of learning style differences,The conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)Among the sensory learning styles of junior middle school students,the most students get tactile learning style,followed by kinesthetic learning style and auditory learning style,and visual learning style is the least.In the social learning style tendency,the number of group learners was significantly higher than that of individual learners,and the number of mixed learners with two main learning styles was significantly higher than that of mixed learners with three main learning styles.Students of different grades showed little difference in sensory learning style,great difference in social learning style,and significant difference in mixed learning style.The number of mixed learners in grade 7 was much higher than that in Grade 8,with significant difference(P=0.000 < 0.01).Among students of different genders,the number of learners of different types was basically the same,and there was no significant difference(P=0.984 > 0.05).Among different schools,the number of tactile and kinesthetic learners in ordinary middle schools was significantly higher than that in key middle schools,while the number of individual learners in key middle schools was significantly higher than that in ordinary middle schools,showing a significant difference(P=0.003 < 0.01).(2)Based on learning motivation theory,self-efficacy theory and differential teaching theory,this study proposes matching education strategy and mismatch education strategy based on biological learning characteristics for learners with different learning styles.At the same time,the analysis of the junior high school biology textbooks,students’ biological learning style differences in writing teaching case,help teachers establish difference teaching consciousness,in the process of biology teaching practice,through the parting points to ask and homework assignments type strategy,diversified teaching evaluation strategy effective play to the advantages of students learning style,and promote students’ art of morality,intelligence and physique full scale development.(3)Through the teaching strategies based on biological learning style differences in experimental classes of teaching experiment,to stay after the teaching practice,found that the experimental class student’s academic performance compared with the beginning of the term,has obvious improvement,biological interest in learning also increased than before,and through communication with the students actively,make further understanding in its own advantages and disadvantages of learning style,In this way,they can effectively adjust their learning strategies,give full play to their learning strengths,and have a clearer understanding and planning of learning methods.Finally,the deficiencies of this research are summarized and reflected,and the outlook is put forward for the problems in the teaching and research process,in order to provide reference and thinking for other scholars to further study the learning style of biology of middle school students. |
