In order to understand the inspection requirements and changing characteristics of students' thinking ability level in the college entrance examination mathematics questions in the past five years, based on the SOLO classification theory,we have formulated the SOLO level classification standard of the college entrance examination mathematics questions, and based on this,we will analyze the 2017-2021 years. The national paper mathematics test paper is divided into SOLO levels. From 2017 to2020,the National Papers I,II,and III,as well as the 2021 National Papers A,B and the National College Entrance Examination National Paper I,a total of 15 sets of National College Entrance Examination Science and Mathematics National Papers analyze the thinking level of the test questions from the three dimensions of the overall test paper, knowledge field, and question type.Thereby, the changing characteristics of the thinking level of the test questions and the thinking level required for the students are obtained. The study found that the overall thinking level of the test paper is that the distribution of the four levels of U,M,R,and E of the mathematics test questions in2017-2020 gradually tends to be stable, and there are varying degrees of fluctuation in the M and R levels. The thinking levels of the three sets of mathematics test questions are relatively similar, and the requirements for students' thinking level are gradually improving.Questions in the field of preparatory knowledge strengthen the examination of the basic knowledge of mathematics. The questions in the function field have a good SOLO gradient, and the difficulty distribution of the questions gradually tends to be balanced. The field of statistics and probability no longer simply examines the basic knowledge of statistics and probability, but focuses on the comprehensive ability of students to grasp the structure of test questions as a whole. The fields of geometry and algebra are very difficult and require high level of thinking of students. They are mainly used to adjust the difficulty of test papers and improve the degree of differentiation. The multiple-choice questions examine both the depth and breadth of knowledge, and the overall difficulty is moderate.Fill-in-the-blank questions neither simply examine the amount of students' knowledge, nor excessively examine the depth of students' knowledge, and the difficulty of the questions is moderate.Answering questions not only broadens the breadth of knowledge, but also deepens the depth of knowledge investigation, improves the distinction of test questions, can better distinguish students' thinking levels, and enhances the selection of test papers.Based on the above research, the suggestion put forward by this paper for the college entrance examination questioners is to pay attention to the rationality of the SOLO level distribution of the test questions, strengthen the comprehensiveness of the test questions, set up the M level test questions reasonably, and satisfy the breadth and depth of the knowledge points.Level test questions, strengthen the comprehensiveness of test questions;pay attention to the openness and innovation of E level test questions. The suggestion for teaching is that teachers should focus on strengthening students' understanding and mastery of basic concepts, definitions, formulas, theorems, and laws, and explain knowledge in an appropriate way in relation to real life,so as to enhance students' mathematical thinking ability.
