In recent years,social media has frequently reported extreme behaviors such as truancy,running away from home and even suicide among middle school students.These problems reflect the current situation of middle school students’ poor mental health and weak ability to cope with frustrations.In the face of various problems exposed at present,the root causes are that students cannot correctly understand and deal with frustrations and difficulties.Therefore,it is extremely urgent to strengthen the education of frustrations for middle school students.The junior middle school "Morality and Rule of Law" course,as the main way to implement moral education in schools,bears the heavy responsibility of the school’s moral education work.It is necessary to focus on how to implement effective frustration education in this course.At the same time,educational problems and social problems cannot be separated,so improving the mental health of middle school students is a subject with urgent practical significance.This paper takes two middle schools in Nanchong City as the survey samples,mainly adopts the questionnaire survey method to obtain the data,and conducts research by combining quantitative and qualitative methods.At present,the general situation of frustration education in the "Morality and Rule of Law" class in junior high school tends to be good.The interpersonal relationship between teachers and students and that between students and students are in good condition,and the degree of recognition of frustration education among junior high school students is relatively high.At the same time,there are also problems such as the prominent self-centered personality of students,the lack of deep understanding of frustration education among teachers and students,the single implementation of frustration education,and the unsatisfactory effect of setback education practice.After in-depth research,it is found that the reasons for the above problems,from the social perspective,mainly include the serious utilitarian bias after the reform and opening up,the conflict between old and new values during the social transformation period,the negative influence of the network media and the absence of local public opinion,etc.;from the school perspective,it is mainly because teachers place too much importance on students’ knowledge learning and relatively neglect ability development,and the school lacks a complete early warning,monitoring and response mechanism;from the family perspective,one is that refined parenting leads to excessive coddling,and the other is that elite education leads to excessive stress on students.Based on this reality,the thesis proposes the following three strategies for how to implement frustration education in the "Morality and Rule of Law" class in junior high school: First,pay attention to the in-depth progression from educational concepts to teaching goals,mainly including more human-oriented educational concepts and more targeted goals.The second is to reform classroom teaching with the help of method innovation and content improvement,mainly including the use of heuristic teaching,experiential teaching and peer example demonstration in teaching,that is,to achieve in-depth learning by giving full play to students’ subjectivity,and by rehearsing frustrations environment,in order to enhance students’ sense of experience,internalize practice orientation,and enhance self-efficacy and psychological adjustment function by strengthening role models.The third is to promote the evaluation method and evaluation standard more scientific and reasonable,take frustration education into the curriculum assessment with the purpose of achieving effective evaluation of students’ behavior.
