| The results of the seventh census show that the current population of 65 years and above in my country is 190.64 million,accounting for 13.5% of the total population.The aging of the population continues to deepen,and the elderly group has become a large group in society.It has become the focus of social attention,especially the increasing number of elderly people with dementia year by year has led to an increase in their care needs and requirements,and the pressure on society and family care for the elderly has increased.In this regard,the state strengthens the training of elderly care professionals and promotes the emergence and development of a variety of emerging occupations such as caregivers for the mentally retarded elderly and ability assessors for the elderly;Promote community pension,institutional pension and intelligent pension models,help the mentally retarded elderly choose appropriate models,and reduce the pressure of family pension;Strive to create a living social environment that meets the needs of the elderly.In addition,because drug intervention can not cure or reverse the symptoms of dementia,the emergence of the "physiological psychological social" medical model should be,and the non drug treatment of dementia began to play a role in delaying the development process of dementia and improving the quality of life of the elderly with dementia.As an important force in social construction,social work,with the help of its own professional ability and social resources,helps the vulnerable mentally retarded elderly group,maintains its existing ability and improves cognitive function.Based on the internship service conducted by the author in Xining x health park,this study selected seven mild dementia elderly with cognitive impairment as the service objects,and carried out "brain power" cognitive improvement group service under the guidance of activity theory.A total of seven group activities were carried out to analyze and summarize the performance and causes of cognitive impairment of mild dementia elderly in the early stage of the small group,The group is divided into concept adjustment stage,cognitive function improvement stage and cognitive function improvement stage.With the goal of adjusting unreasonable ideas,enhancingthe motivation for positive cognitive change,and strengthening physical and mental activities,the group plan for the training of memory,executive ability,attention and expression of the elderly with mild dementia is formulated to improve the activity level of the elderly with mild dementia,So as to maintain its residual function,promote its participation in social activities and improve the quality of life.During the activity,the performance of team members and the performance of social workers,i.e.the author,are used as the indicators of process evaluation,and the scale data and the interview results of caregivers of the elderly with mild dementia and the elderly themselves on the group effect are used as the indicators of result evaluation,which confirms the guiding significance of activity theory in the intervention of cognitive impairment of the elderly with mild dementia and the effectiveness of group work intervention.At the end of the paper,the author summarizes the experience of this group intervention,and makes it clear that we should adhere to the behavior of maintaining and promoting the health of the mentally retarded elderly,strengthen the awareness and behavior of self-care of the mentally retarded elderly,establish a trust relationship with the mentally retarded elderly,promote services,give consideration to the principle of integrity and individualization of care for the mentally retarded elderly,improve the professional service ability of social workers,and give full play to the power of social resources,Work together to provide more comprehensive and humanized services for the mentally retarded elderly. |
