The elderly with mild cognitive impairment is one of the objects of social workers as social vulnerable groups. With the increase of age, cognitive functions such as visual space and executive function, naming ability, attention, verbal expression, abstraction ability, delayed recall ability, and orientation ability of the group decline with different degrees.Among them, the decline of the visual space and executive function, delayed recall ability is the most obvious. In order to delay the decline of cognitive function in the elderly with mild cognitive impairment, this study intervened in them through group work, evaluated and analyzed the effectiveness of the intervention. In this paper,16 elderly people with mild cognitive impairment in Shanghai S Welfare Institute were selected as research objects.Based on Information Processing Learning Theory and Brain Plasticity Theory, the objects were randomly divided into intervention group and control group and Tablet PC is intervention tool.Using intervention methods combining treatment group with study group, the study used several techniques and methods such as MoCA scale, observation, interview and so on,to assess and analyze the intervention process and effect of the group.Based on these, the research results and limitations of this study were obtained. What's more, this paper put forward suggestions on the same type of research and prospects for related research topics. The research shows that the Tablet PC learning group, which is aimed at the visual space and executive function and delayed recall ability, can effectively delay the decline of cognitive function in the elderly with MCI,and the intervention has a sustained effect. The cognitive function of MCI elderly without intervention shows a decline trend with time going by.
