Since the language curriculum objectives have entered the era of core literacy,more curriculum resources are needed to enter teaching and meet teaching needs.Red cultural resources are exactly a kind of high-quality educational resources,which carry the revolutionary spirit and traditional virtues of the Chinese nation and have profound educational value.Dabie Mountain,which is located at the junction of EYUAN and Anhui provinces,is one of the famous old revolutionary regions in China and one of the important birthplaces of red culture in China.Integrating Dabie Mountain red culture resources into middle school language teaching is an important step to carry out revolutionary traditional education,inherit the red gene and promote advanced socialist culture.Therefore,this paper takes Dabie Mountain red cultural resources as the research object,explores its integration into language teaching,improves the nurturing function of language subjects,shapes a more dynamic language curriculum,and hopes to take this opportunity to make Dabie Mountain red culture spread,enhance students' sense of identification with red culture,and thicken patriotic feelings in the new era.This paper is divided into five parts: the first part is the introduction,which mainly elaborates on the background of the selected topic,the current situation of the study,the significance of the study,the research ideas and methods,etc.,and clarifies the basis and reasons for writing the paper.The second part mainly analyzes the overview of red cultural resources in Dabie Mountain.On the basis of the definition of red cultural resources and its related concepts,the connotation,categories and characteristics of Dabie Mountain red cultural resources are clarified,followed by the analysis and discussion of the feasibility and necessity of integrating Dabie Mountain red cultural resources into language teaching.In the third part,a questionnaire survey is conducted to understand the current situation of using red cultural resources in language teaching in Xinyang region,and to analyze the problems of insufficient depth of developed contents,lack of systematization and insufficient attention in the development and utilization of red cultural resources in the region.The fourth part,as the focus of the whole text,focuses on the exploration of the integration of Dabie Mountain red culture resources into language teaching.First,the principles of resource integration should be followed,i.e.,the principles of moral education,language,locality and student orientation.Secondly,we should develop a school-based language curriculum,flexibly penetrate Dabie Mountain red cultural resources from both classroom teaching and practical activities,establish a curriculum resource sharing mechanism,and improve the efficiency of resource utilization.The fifth part is the program design for integrating Dabie Mountain red culture resources into language teaching,including both classroom teaching and practical exploration.Classroom teaching takes reading and writing instruction as examples to guide students to have a preliminary understanding of the Dabie Mountain red culture.Practical exploration takes the form of thematic inquiry to deepen students' understanding and application of Dabie Mountain red culture through rich practical activities.The integration of Dabie Mountain red culture resources into middle school language teaching can not only play the function of revolutionary culture to forge the soul and nurture people,and assist the development of revolutionary traditional education,but also meet the requirements of language subject curriculum concept and national education policy.
