| High school is an important development period for students to grow and become successful.As a compulsory course,the ideology and politics class undertakes the tasks of teaching ideological and political theoretical knowledge,guiding correct values and cultivating students’ ability to solve practical life problems.The application of practical teaching in ideology and politics class can play a role in enhancing students’ understanding of theoretical knowledge,shaping a sound personality,and having students make correct value judgments and value choices in specific problems.Therefore,the application of practical teaching in ideological and political science classes has an irreplaceable status and role.In this paper,based on the interest in and consideration of practical teaching,on the basis of clarifying the basic concepts of the teaching form of the course and combining with the investigation of the current situation of using practical teaching in a high school ideology and politics class,we launch a study on the application of practical teaching in high school ideology and politics class.First,a research overview of the theories related to practical teaching is conducted.On the basis of the insights and opinions of scholars at home and abroad on practical teaching in recent years,the research ideas,the methods used and the focus,difficulties and innovations of this paper are clarified.Following that,the connotation,theoretical basis and the significance of practical teaching in high school ideology and politics classes are further explained.Then,combined with the analysis of the characteristics of practical teaching,the functions of using practical teaching in ideology and politics classes are clarified,and its teaching principles are made clear.Next,the current situation of the application of practical teaching in high school ideology and politics classes is learned through classroom observation,distribution of questionnaires and interviews with front-line teachers.The achievements of practical teaching in high school ideology and politics classes were summarized,and the problems were explored on the basis of the characteristics of practical teaching,namely,the lack of relevance of practical teaching,the lack of participation in practical teaching,and the lack of diversity in practical teaching.The analysis of the causes of the problems was conducted in response to the problems,namely,teachers’ lack of active guidance for students,teachers’ limited ability in heavy teaching tasks,teachers’ insufficient understanding of students’ actual situation,students’ low enthusiasm in participating in practical teaching,the lack of specific practical rules in schools,and the long-term mechanism to guarantee teaching to be improved,which restrict the effectiveness of teaching.Finally,the optimization path is proposed from an integrated and comprehensive perspective.That is,teachers should strengthen the awareness of subject responsibility,proactive improvement of its own internal construction,design teaching for students’ reality;enrich teaching forms,enhance students’ main participation,and combine classroom education and current affairs education;schools should build a perfect leadership system,set up special financial guarantee,improve the assessment and evaluation system,explore excellent educational resources,and strengthen teacher training,in order to optimize the effect of practical teaching in high school ideology and politics classes need to together to play a joint effort. |
