The "Literary Reading and Writing" task group is introduced for the first time in the 2017 edition of Chinese curriculum standards for ordinary senior high schools,which is the curriculum content for implementing the core literacy of the new curriculum standards.“Selected Readings of Pre-Qin Philosophers”,an optional series of textbooks in the 2003 Standard Edition of People’s Education Press,which is is used in the second year of senior high school.It is an optional textbook that helps students to accumulate knowledge of literary languages,improve their argumentative and writing skills,understand classical culture,cultivate noble thoughts and enhance their aesthetic sensibilities.This paper explores how to integrate the teaching of“Selected Readings of Pre-Qin Philosophers”with the concept of "thematic teaching" and the teaching objectives of the task group "Literary Reading and Writing",and how to explore the teaching method of the task group "Literary Reading and Writing" by making full use of the textbook“Selected Readings of Pre-Qin Philosophers”.The content of this paper is divided into the following parts.The introduction part of the book focuses on the reasons for the selection of the subject,the current state of research,the theoretical,cultural and practical significance of the study,and the research methodology.The first chapter concentrates on an introduction to the task group ’Literary Reading and Writing’ and the textbook “Selected Readings of Pre-Qin Philosophers”.It covers the concept and characteristics of the ’task group’,the pedagogical arrangements and objectives of the ’Literary Reading and Writing’ task group,and the general structure and characteristics of the textbook“Selected Readings of Pre-Qin Philosophers”.It also points out the significance of teaching “Selected Readings of Pre-Qin Philosophers”in the context of the task group of "Literature Reading and Writing".Chapter 2 mainly studies the current situation of teaching in the task group of "Reading and Writing Literature" and "Selected Readings from the Sons of the Qin Dynasty".A questionnaire survey of teachers was conducted to find out how teachers grasp the concept of “Selected Readings of Pre-Qin Philosophers” and "Literature Reading and Writing",as well as their teaching planning,organization,evaluation and difficulties in teaching.Through a questionnaire survey on a sample of students,we will explore students’ interest in learning,reading and writing habits,learning methods,and teaching and evaluation of the textbook “Selected Readings of Pre-Qin Philosophers”and discover the current shortcomings in teaching and learning and to analyse the causes of the problems.Chapter 3 proposes a strategy for implementing the teaching of “Selected Readings of Pre-Qin Philosophers”based on the task group of "Literature Reading and Writing".In the preparation stage,teachers should study and research the textbook and the standards,make collective efforts and formulate teaching objectives and plans;in the implementation stage,teachers should pay attention to the integration of unit objectives for thematic teaching,highlight the students’ major status and develop Chinese core literacy throughout the teaching;In the task and assessment stage,teachers should be varied in assignments,pay attention to process archives,multiple design scales and respect individual differences.The chapter ends with a selected readings from The Analects of Confucius and selected readings from the Mencius,which demonstrate the pedagogical design of the reading and writing elements and provide suggestions for assessment.The Conclusion part briefly summaries the findings and shortcomings of the study. |
