our country's "General High School Biology Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition 2020 Revision)"(hereinafter referred to as "Curriculum Standards")governs the entire high school biology curriculum with ten major concepts,and puts forward the basic concept of "content focusing on major concepts".The "Curriculum Standards" pointed out in the implementation suggestions: to help students form the concept of life through the study of big concepts.Helping students to form correct concepts and establish their concepts of life is an important learning goal of biology courses.Based on the "Curriculum Standards",this study analyzes the two major concepts proposed in the "Molecules and Cells" module of the People's Education Edition(2019).The concept of life contained therein;at the same time,a questionnaire was prepared to survey the first-line biology teachers of high school to understand the status of high school biology concept teaching;accordingly,four strategies for high school biology concept teaching were proposed: model and modeling strategy,concept map strategy,Science history strategy and argumentation teaching strategy;and select relevant teaching cases to analyze how to use a certain teaching strategy in the teaching cases to help students form concepts and establish life concepts.The specific research conclusions are as follows:First,the PEP(2019)"Molecules and Cells" module textbook focuses on the construction of concepts.While establishing concepts,it also permeates life concepts such as structure and function,matter and energy,matter and systems.Teachers should analyze textbooks systematically and in-depth,clarify biological concepts and their relationships,and clarify the concept of life contained in the concepts.Second,first-line teachers have a good understanding and implementation of biological concept teaching,and they can basically choose effective teaching strategies for concept teaching.Some teachers have not studied the "Curriculum Standards" sufficiently,and cannot accurately and comprehensively analyze the concept of life contained in the concept of biology,and it is difficult to implement the goal of cultivating the concept of life in teaching.Third,a model and modeling strategy that visualizes concepts,a science history strategy that highlights the formation and development of concepts,a concept map strategy that systematizes concepts,and an argumentative strategy that corrects incorrect concepts to construct correct concepts are highly recognized and effective.The concept of teaching strategies.This research suggests that teachers should choose appropriate concept teaching strategies to help students form a concept of life on the basis of concept learning.
