With the reform of teaching materials and the advancement of educational concepts,Cultivating students' core quality in an all-round ways has become the focus of Chinese educational work.The core literacy of biology mainly includes Life Concept,Scientific Thinking,Scientific Inquiry and Social Responsibility.The basic view of "Structure and Functionality" in the concept of life is reflected in all levels of life body.Screening,excavating and integrating the view in High School Biology Materials,which is beneficial for students to establish a systematic knowledge system and develop core literacy.In the Biology Curriculum Standards for General Senior High Schools(2017 Edition and 2020Revision),it advocates the "Content focuses on big concepts" and Concept Teaching is its foundation.As an effective strategy to organize multiple concepts together,Concept Map can help students establish a good connection with content that they have learned.Therefore,this research aims to use Concept Map to strengthen concept teaching and promoting the formation of students' view of structure and function and explore the effectiveness of Concept Map in the cultivation of "Structure and Functionality".First,using the literature research method to look up relevant domestic and foreign literatures,master the related knowledge and theoretical basis of Concept Map,and design the concept gallery of "Structure and Functionality" according to the Biology Curriculum Standards for General Senior High Schools(2017 Edition and 2020 Revision)and Chapter order,taking People's education press high school biology compulsory 1 as an example.It will lay a foundation for subsequent experimental research.Next,We know the knowledge about all the high school biology teachers of the internship school and the two parallel class students for the Concept Map and Structure and Functionality through the questionnaire survey method.Then We can put forward corresponding countermeasures according to the problems reflected by the questionnaire survey.Finally,a one-semester teaching experiment was carried out in two parallel classes,and different teaching strategies were adopted for teaching.After the experiment was completed,the students' pre-and post-test scores and result of questionnaire survey were compared and analyzed,and verified the effectiveness of Concept Map in cultivating "Structure and Functionality" from both subjective and objective aspects:(1)The Concept Map helps students improve their academic performance in biology;(2)The Concept Map helps students better understand the meaning of "Structure and Functionality",and can reduce conceptual confusion;(3)The Concept Map helps stimulate students' interest in biology and improve learning efficiency.Basing on the results of this research,the following suggestions are made in order to promote the application of Concept Map in biology teaching of high school:(1)School:strengthening teachers' learning of Concept Map theory;holding regular teaching demonstration classes of Concept Map;(2)Teacher: mastering related knowledge of Concept Map,doing a good job in demonstration work of Concept Map;applying Concept Map frequently in a variety of situations;Guiding the students to build Concept Map to enhance students' initiative.This study provides a specific theoretical basis for the Concept Map in the cultivation of sense of life,and opens up field of vision for biology teaching research in senior high school.In addition,it provides reasonable suggestions for the popularization and application of concept map in biology teaching practice of senior high school.It also provides a reference for biology teachers of high school.
