The Group Work Is Involved In The Research On Emotional Management Of Minors Involved In Crimes

In recent years,juveniles are suspected of criminal incidents frequently,and the problem of juvenile delinquency is becoming more and more prominent.The state and society are also paying more and more attention to the problem of juvenile delinquency.In the face of these juvenile delinquents who have not reached the age of criminal responsibility,how to educate and correct them and help them return to society has become an urgent problem for social workers to explore.On the one hand,the juvenile involved in the crime is not mature,and most of the reasons for the crime are caused by impulse;Involved crime minors,on the other hand,because of its "punishment",to "punish" the irrational beliefs and cognitive,leading to the anxiety,inferiority,guilt,fear and other feelings,such as not to good management of these emotions,will affect their life,study and work,and even criminal behavior will occur again.Therefore,it is worth exploring how to effectively improve the emotional management ability of juveniles involved in crimes.Based on the above,the author takes the juveniles involved in crime with emotional problems in S Juvenile Judicial Social Service Center as the object of service,carries out a practical research on the group work involving the emotion management of juveniles involved in crime.By using the method of group work,combining the cognitive behavior theory and the emotional ABC theory,Five juvenile delinquents with consistent emotional problems were recruited as service objects for intervention.Questionnaires and interviews were used to understand the emotional management needs and problems of juvenile delinquents.Based on this,group activity plans were formulated and 6 group activities were carried out.In this study,before and after group activities,the Emotional Intelligence Scale was used to measure the group members,and the measurement results were analyzed.It was found that after the end of the group,the scores of the Emotional Intelligence Scale were all improved,and the ability of emotion management was significantly improved.Group members believe that the emotion management methods learned in group activities are very helpful for them to deal with emotional problems in life.They can treat problems with rational beliefs,control their behaviors,and avoid committing crimes again.Therefore,group activities have achieved certain results.It is concluded that group work plays a positive role in improving the emotional management ability of juveniles involved in crimes.Finally,the author reflected that the group activity could not meet the individual needs of group members and the external environment was not involved enough,and put forward some suggestions on how to effectively involve group work in emotion management.
