With the continuous improvement of population aging, the problem of pension has become increasingly prominent. How to reduce the huge pension pressure brought by population aging has become an increasingly prominent problem in today's society. As one of the important parts of the volunteer service system, community elderly volunteer service plays an irreplaceable role in relieving the pressure of the elderly and realizing active aging.Based on the perspective of "active aging theory",this research combines "social support theory" and "energy enhancement theory",taking the elderly volunteer team of Y community in N City as an example, and taking the three theoretical pillars of "active aging theory" ——Guided by "participation","health" and "security",group activities are carried out in combination with the actual situation of Y community and the elderly volunteer team,so as to conduct practical research on how to promote volunteer service activities for the elderly in the community.First, social workers collected information through participant observation and unstructured interviews to analyze the current situation and problems of the elderly volunteer team in Y community.Secondly, combined with the "active aging theory","social support theory",and "energy enhancement theory",according to the actual situation of the Y community, carry out corresponding group activities and conduct relevant assessments, and then reflect on the theoretical application and practical development. Finally, combined with the three dimensions of "active aging theory",relevant suggestions are put forward to promote the participation of community elderly volunteer services.
