Traditional festivals are rich in cultural significance,which can not only cultivate people’s healthy aesthetic tastes,but also cultivate people’s excellent moral personality and promote cultural self-confidence and pride.Especially for middle school students,they are in the rebellious stage of adolescence,and their physical and mental development is not mature enough,which is a critical period of development.The introduction of traditional festival culture in the teaching of junior high school ethics and rule of law enables students to accept the influence of traditional festival culture in a subtle way,which is not only conducive to the development of students’ physical and mental health,but also cultivates middle school students into inheritors and promoters of traditional festival culture.The article mainly consists of four parts.The first part focuses on the concept of traditional festival culture,emphasizes its value in today’s society and its value in moral and rule of law classroom teaching,and analyzes the curriculum objectives and core literacy of junior high school ethics and rule of law teaching.This part discusses the rich teaching resources contained in traditional festival culture,and the feasibility of integrating it into the junior high school ethics and rule of law curriculum.The second part introduces the importance of integrating traditional festival culture into the teaching of morality and rule of law in junior high schools.They are discussed from three aspects: the need to improve the quality teaching and education system,the need to plant the soil for the inheritance and development of culture,and the mutual support of traditional festival culture and junior high school morality and rule of law teaching.These elaborations illustrate the research significance of integrating traditional festival culture into political teaching in junior high schools.The third part investigates and analyzes the current situation of traditional festival culture teaching in junior high school ethics and rule of law courses.Through the questionnaire survey,it was learned that some students did not have enough understanding of traditional festival culture and insufficient understanding of cultural connotation.Some secondary school ethics and rule of law teachers also lack certain experience in teaching traditional festival culture.In view of the current situation of education,it is particularly important to reform the traditional festival culture and integrate the political teaching methods of junior high schools.The fourth part is the statistics and analysis of the cultural resources of traditional festivals in textbooks.According to the content of the textbook,the cultural connotation of traditional festivals is analyzed in a targeted manner,and specific methods are provided for the integration of traditional festival culture into the teaching of ethics and rule of law in junior high schools in the future.
