Adults with intellectual disabilities are marginalized and often unable to integrate into society.Down syndrome group is a kind of people with mental retardation.From birth,it has shown the characteristics of different degrees of mental retardation,special face and growth retardation.In particular,adult patients with Down syndrome are faced with problems such as aging of their parents and lack of supervision.Their physical and mental health urgently needs the attention and help of social workers.This study takes the practical process of adult Down syndrome patients as the research object,analyzes the problems and causes of social work intervention in the social adaptability of adult Down syndrome patients from the perspective of social ecosystem theory and social support network theory,and demonstrates the responsibility orientation of social work intervention in the improvement of social adaptability of adult Down syndrome patients.A typical adult Down syndrome patient L in H Province was selected for case management,and a systematic strategy of social work intervention in the improvement of social adaptability of adult Down syndrome patients was put forward.Personalized intervention was carried out according to the actual situation of the man,and good results were achieved.The study found that the intervention of social work in the improvement of social adaptability of adult Down syndrome patients has a good effect.It is necessary to build a social support network from multiple ecosystems such as individuals,families and society,so as to provide a good living environment for adult Down syndrome patients,improve their quality and level of life,and provide a reference for the case management model of adult Down syndrome patients,It is conducive to promoting the full play of the efficiency of social work and promoting the protection of the rights and interests of adult Down syndrome patients. |
