Textbook is a curriculum resource closely related to curriculum implementation.It directly affects teachers' curriculum design,curriculum organization and the realization of teaching objectives.Since the autumn semester of 2016,the language textbooks compiled by the Ministry have been widely used in primary schools all over the country.As the organizer and guide of students' learning activities,teachers have undergone earth shaking changes in their guiding ideology,overall thinking,system structure and arrangement in the face of a new set of textbooks.What is the effect of the use of Chinese textbooks compiled by the Ministry?What problems have teachers encountered in the process of using?The research on these problems can help Chinese teachers make better use of the primary school Chinese textbooks compiled by the Ministry,so as to improve the teaching effect.The research adopts the methods of questionnaire,classroom observation and interview to make a detailed classroom observation on the classroom of Z primary school teachers in Yangzhou City,Jiangsu Province.It investigates the teachers'overall views on the Ministry compiled primary school Chinese textbooks,the use of the Ministry compiled primary school textbooks and the factors affecting the teachers'use of the Ministry compiled primary school Chinese textbooks.It is found that the following problems exist in the use of textbooks:the understanding of textbooks is not deep enough;The choice of key and difficult points in teaching is not accurate enough;Neglecting students' dominant position in class and independent practice;Lack of correct view of textbook use;Teacher training for textbook use is divorced from teaching practice.Based on the analysis of the problems existing in the use of primary school Chinese textbooks compiled by the Ministry,the following suggestions are put forward:teachers should update the concept of textbook use and take the initiative to "teach with textbooks";Fully integrate the relevant resources of textbooks and supplement the expanding materials;Improve the ability to guide students to use textbooks effectively.The innovation of the research lies in meeting the national needs for basic education,going deep into the front-line classroom and observing the classroom.Through interviews with teachers and sorting out the collected materials,this paper makes an in-depth and detailed exploration on how teachers use and develop textbooks in classroom teaching,which provides a useful reference for the use of teachers' textbooks.
