Primary school is an important stage for the formation and development of students' personality,which is especially important for students' education.School education needs the cooperation and support from families,and family education needs the guidance from school.Only by strengthening mutual communication between family and school to form a joint educational force can we jointly promote the development of students.At present,the research on home-school co-education mainly focuses on the current problems and countermeasures,and lacks the analysis and interpretation of successful cases.This study takes G Primary School as the research object to explore how it grew from a school questioned by parents into a national model school of family-school co-education in just five years.Data collection was mainly by(a)observations,(b)documents,and(c)recorded interviews.The method of qualitative research is used to describe the background of G Primary School and the construction process of its family-school co-education.While deeply interpreting the work of family-school co-operation in G Primary School,this paper summarizes and refines the "one two three four" model.That is,a school-running idea: elegant ××,wise childhood;Two approaches:online and offline;Three values: character building,labor practice and cultural inheritance;Four measures: principal responsibility,expert guidance,teacher action,and parents participation.From the perspective of social ecology theory and overlapping influence domain theory,this paper explores how G Primary School has grown into a national model school of family-school co-education within five years of its establishment.At the same time,in view of the current situation of G Primary School family-school co-education,suggestions are put forward to strengthen family-school co-education.In reference to the construction of family-school co-education in G Primary School,four enlightenment points are drawn,which are: strengthening the leadership of principals,improving the executive power of teachers,enhancing the participation of parents and enrich the ways of family-school co-education.This case study shows the specific implementation of home-school co-education,enriches people's understanding of the importance of social cooperation and interaction in home-school,provides case support for the construction of home-school co-education model in China,and also provides reference for the construction of home-school co-education.
