In the era of rapid development of information,people pay more and more attention to the information technology.The new curriculum standard of information technology puts forward the cultivation of computational thinking,and the related information technology education becomes increasingly important.Researchers begin to pay attention to the cultivation of students’ Computational Thinking in the information technology classroom.The development of robot education has injected new power into information technology education.However,the situation is not optimistic.On one hand,for front-line teachers,teaching methods cannot be updated in time,furthermore,some teachers are not competent for the teaching content,thus leading to derailment with the novelteaching concept.For students,on the other hand,most of them are weak in improving their computational thinking awareness and some have poor computational thinking skills.Therefore,how to develop middle school information technology courses that can engage students,improve computational thinking,enhance learning interest,and enhance teaching effects is still a problem that needs to be solved urgently.Based on the characteristics of middle school students,combined with the particularity of learning content,this article applies virtual robot software to high school information technology teaching in order to improve the teaching effect.The specific work of this paper is as follows.First of all,urrent situation analysis the literature method is used to sort out the current development status of information technology education and virtual robots at home and abroad,and to understand the development of computational thinking in information technology education to find the problem.Secondly,Teaching design is based on constructivist learning theory,humanistic learning theory,and Dewey’s "learning by doing" theory.Under the guidance of teaching system design theory,it focuses on learners,teaching goals,teaching content,teaching strategies and teaching evaluation Analyze the elements of teaching design,complete the teaching design and summarize the enlightenment.Then,The teaching practice is carried out in the form of action research.A total of three rounds of basic,advanced and innovative teaching practice are carried out.After the practice is completed,reflections are carried out,and the existing problems in the teaching are summarized and improved.Finally,The effect analysis is carried out in the form of tests and questionnaires to understand and analyze the students’ computational thinking,test scores,and learning attitudes,so as to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the virtual robot-based teaching design in teaching practice.The results of the research show that,with the cultivation of computational thinking as the starting point,the combination of virtual robots and information technology teaching can improve students’ computational thinking,enhance their enthusiasm for learning,and help improve teaching effects.
