With the vigorous development of teaching Chinese to speakers of other languages, the number of elementary schools offering Chinese classes overseas has grown rapidly, and children have become an important part of Chinese international education.Children’s special physiology, psychological mechanism and cognitive mode determine that the teaching of Chinese is different from that of adults.Classroom management issues have become a prominent problem faced by Chinese teachers. While, the author finds that there are not many research results on Chinese language classroom management of overseas children, and very few studies specifically focus on Chinese language classroom management of Hungarian children. The author combined his real and practical experience in Banki Primary School in Pecs,Hungary, through literature analysis.Questionnaires, classroom observations, case studies etc.were used to find problems in Chinese classroom management in Hungarian primary schools,to explore the causes of problems, and to put forward some solutions and suggestions based on this. The author divides the classroom problem behaviors of students into explicit problem behaviors, hidden problem behaviors and cultural conflict-type problem behaviors. The main reasons for this are student’s own factors, teachers’ factors, and physical and psychological environmental factors.Based on this, the author proposes the following suggestions: 1.Teachers should fully understand the destination country and teaching object, improve classroom management ability and personal charm, improve ability to respond to emergencies, carry out classroom management outside the classroom, and actively create a communication environment.2.In terms of teaching sites,we must actively improve the teaching environment and promote communication among schools, teachers, and parents.3.Hanban and the Confucius Institute should actively develop country-specific textbooks and improve the curriculum outline, strengthen volunteer teacher children’s Chinese classroom management and language training.
