With the development of Chinese teaching in full swing all over the world,theories related to teaching Chinese as a foreign language have been developing continuously in practice.Chinese character teaching is one of the most important links.Its related theories have developed rapidly in the past 30 years,and the theory of teaching Chinese characters to foreigners has achieved initial results.Among them,the teaching of Chinese character culture is one aspect that many scholars pay close attention to.Although many studies have been carried out around the teaching of Chinese character culture to foreigners,many theories have not been fully practiced,and the related theories of Chinese character culture teaching need to be developed and perfected in practice.The author tries to apply the theory of teaching Chinese character culture to Chinese character teaching practice at the Leowey High School of Confucius Institute of Lorand University in Hungary.Taking three Hungarian high school students who are learning Chinese as subjects,combining the author's own teaching experience on Chinese characters and interviews on Chinese teachers in other teaching points,according to the results of the survey and interviews,the relevant teaching strategies of Chinese character culture are formulated and applied to practice.The paper mainly includes the following five parts:The first chapter is the introduction,which introduces the background and signi ficance of the thesis,and combs the literature review related to the topic of this thesis.In the second chapter,a questionnaire survey was conducted among students from three Hungarian high schools to find out the main methods and strategies the use in learning Chinese characters at the present stage,the methods of their Chinese teachers at this stage commonly used in character teaching,to find out students' preferences for different Chinese character teaching methods.According to the survey results,this thesis analyses the problems existing in the current Chinese character teaching from the perspective of students,teachers and textbooks.The third chapter shows the content of Chinese character culture in teaching,divides the culture of Chinese characters into two parts,macro Chinese character culture and micro Chinese character culture,and puts forward teaching principles and methods for different cultural contents.The chapter four is a practical case of Chinese character culture teaching.It summarizes the case and analyses the positive promoting effect of Chinese character culture teaching on students' Chinese character learning.The fifth chapter is the summary and reflection of the thesis.It summarizes the significance and importance of the teaching of Chinese character culture.At the same time,it reflects on the shortcomings of this thesis in order to improve it in the future.
