Instructional language is an important part of teacher's classroom language.The correct use of instructional language is related to the benign development of classroom teaching and the effective output of teaching effect.Based on the characteristics of children's curiosity,short duration of continuous attention and liveliness,compared with adult classes,teachers need to use more instructions to maintain classroom order and conduct effective teaching.This paper observes the classroom teaching of Y1 non-native language class in an international school,and records 1015 instructions.Through the analysis,author finds that instructions in children's Chinese classroom have the following characteristics: 1.instructional language have the functions of maintaining classroom order,connecting classroom links and prompting students' attention;2.instructional language are characterized by non-independence,rhythm,interaction and shaping of instructions;3.the use rate of imperative instruction is the highest,accounting for 85%.The frequency of requesting instruction is similar to that of recommending instruction.The differences between children's and adults 'instructions are mainly manifested in the following aspects: 1.The status of verbs is different 2.The functional distribution of directives is different 3.The distribution of teaching links is different 4.The forms of language presentation are different.
