In recent years,there have been frequent suicides,homicides and campus bullying among teenage students,which reflect their weak awareness of life and incorrect values of life.The two sessions in 2020 show the importance of incorporating life education into the curriculum system.Life education is the main way to cultivate young students' life consciousness and form correct life values.Biology contains a lot of knowledge and materials of life education,so it is an ideal subject to implement life education.Biology teachers have the responsibility to infiltrate life education in biology teaching.This study investigates the current situation of life education in Gulin area from the perspective of teachers and students.The survey results show that some teachers have a deviation in their understanding of the concept and content of life education,and only59.52% of the teachers have a good understanding of the concept of life education.Teachers' consciousness of infiltrating life education is relatively high,but their action ability is insufficient,which is mainly restricted by the limited class hours and examination-oriented education.Moreover the way for teachers to carry out life education is single.A large number of students have a one-sided understanding of life knowledge,lack of respect and awe for life,and even have many behaviors and ideas that do not cherish life.Further many students do not clear about the value and significance of life.They are at a loss about life education and the access life knowledge is also relatively simple.On the whole,the life education of high school in Gulin area is relatively weak.There are five main reasons for these problems.(1)The graduation rate is generally valued in the society,while students' life education is neglected.(2)Gulin area has a special educational environment.Most of the high school students in Gulin area come from villages and towns.In addition,most of them are resident students,left-behind children and are from single-parent families.Besides,there is a high turnover of school teachers.Under this circumstance,students are prone to form special psychological problems,combined with the lack of necessary mental health education and life education,which makes their life consciousness thin and even the life values distort.(3)School education funds investment is insufficient,also ignore the construction of environmental culture of life education.(4)There is a lack of family life education.(5)The action motive of life education of teachers is insufficient.Reasonable suggestions are put forward for these problems from five aspects.(1)The implementation of life education in society should be strengthened.(2)The life education environment in the remote area(Gulin)need to be improved.(3)We should strengthen the management of life education in schools.(4)The influence of family factors on life education should be weakened.(5)It is necessary to improve teachers' life education skills.Finally,the resources of life education in biology textbooks of senior high school are excavated and combed.Further,the teaching cases are designed from six aspects,which are life health education,life value education,life attitude education,life and death education,responsibility education and ethics education.It is hoped that this study can arouse teachers' attention to life education and provide feasible strategies and paths for themselves and other high school biology teachers to implement life education in teaching.
