The starting points of education are people oriented and attention to life. In China's current educational reform, people pay more attention to the life. Therefore, the significance of life education has been widely recognized. The biology curriculum in high school contains amount of material about life education, which fully exploits the resources in high school curriculum. In daily classes, the biology teachers should take life education as their responsibility, combining the knowledge of biology and life education, which could achieve the teaching goal of “lifelong learning and development”.This paper mainly researches life education in biology curriculum of high school, combining the teaching material, which develops and exploits the material of life education. It consists of five chapters, which are arranged as follows: the first chapter is an introduction which explains the background, meaning,current situation of life education both at home and abroad,and method of this study; the second chapter briefly explains the education's connotation; the third chapter inspects the problems from the perspective of life education in class; the fourth chapter mainly discusses the development of the teaching material from five aspects which are concept, purpose, principle, process, and classification; the fifth chapter that combines concrete cases discusses how to permeate life education into daily teaching of high school.Finally, the author points out the limitation and deficiency. This paper hopes that through practical research on the development and application of teaching materials, we can enrich our educational resources in teaching. At the same time, it can provide some experience and reference for the further study.Life education to students in the teaching of biology has incomparable superiority to other subjects. According to The High School Biology Curriculum Standard, the nature of biology course is described as follows: "Biology is a basic subject in natural science, which studies the life phenomenon and the rules of life activities." Therefore, students can fully understand the essence of life in the learning process of biology. A life embodies his extraordinary aspects and the beauty of life from birth, growth, aging to death. Hence, as the high school biology teachers, we should fully study the daily classroom teaching, play the unique advantage of the course and guide students to learn biology through the perspective of appreciating life.
