The Construction Process Of The Interdiscipline Of Journalism And Communication In China(1918-2018)

Because of the construction of a series of interdisciplinary disciplines,journalism and communication in China has gone through a century-long history from the initial three major sections(journalism history,journalism theory and journalism business)to the preliminary formation of the discipline system now.What is the evolution of these interdisciplinary studies? What are its features? What are the influencing factors?This is the main question to be answered in this paper.Based on this,this paper put the overlapping subject books have been published as the basic data,according to the actual research process,the development of cross subject can be divided into five stages : Advocate and try(1918-1948),Interrupt of the research(1949-1977),Back to research(1978-1996),Research in full swing(1997-2005),and the prosperity of internet communication and new look interdisciplinary construction(1996-2018).respectively summarized interdisciplinary construction situation,characteristics,and explains the influence factors behind the process.The research shows that the continuous evolution of interdisciplinary disciplines promotes the enrichment and formation of the whole discipline of journalism and communication.The internal and external factors such as the weakness of the theory of journalism and communication,the eagerness to prove that journalism has the mentality of learning,the development of other disciplines that cross with journalism and communication,the need of journalism business and practice of journalism activities,the prosperity of journalism education and so on,jointly promote the development of the interdisciplinary of journalism and communication in China.
