A Study On School Of Journalism And Communication Students' View On Journalism

The cognition of journalistic profession is an important topic in the field of journalism since the 1970 s,and The cognition of journalistic profession meads the understanding and cognition of the function,significance and norm of journalism.The cognition of journalistic profession is the foundation of professional consciousness growth.There have been many studies about the cognition of journalistic profession,but studies have been conducted on the subjects of journalists,and many studies have been conducted from the perspective of personal role,occupational function,professional value,and behavior contrary to professional norms.Journalism students are quasi-journalists,therefore it is of theoretical and practical significance to study the college students' views on journalistic career.This paper adopts the questionnaire method to study the cognition of college students in journalism.Research results show that students of journalism and communication believe that journalists should have strong abilities in all aspects.In cognitive aspects of media function,respondents thought the news media space for public interest expression and function of information communication is very important,that citizens' expression is the most important function,followed by the information dissemination functions,again is question authority function,and convey to explain policy function.In the study of the influence factor of individual ethics,we found that professional,grade and industry influence on news of news and media class students' cognition has a significant impact.It is worth noting that the respondents thought the news talent demand is high,with the approval of lower school education gap is formed between,on the other hand,for news of higher cognition and controversial behavior high tolerance to form the contradiction.The value of this paper is that there is less research on the comprehensive journalistic career cognition conducted by the college students of journalism and communication,and I hope this paper can enrich the empirical research in this field.The questionnaire design and research of this paper focus on media ethics,so as to be able to value the news value of education and the industry.On the one hand,the view of general education in school and in the future employment intention,for training students' professional values provide a reference and theoretical basis,on the other hand,these journalism undergraduate and graduate students attitude to a certain extent for the media behavior to provide the basis of self-discipline.
