Nowadays,with the promotion and deepening of the New Teaching Reformation,people have raised their attention to the education of well-rounded student.Therefore,followed by the popularization of aesthetic education in school,instrumental music class has become indispensable to the general curriculum.Violin is known for its excellent tone quality,wide range,and beautiful melody and rhythm.Violin performing is a highly technical art.Collective teaching of violin becomes more important because number of students is growing while competent teachers are insufficient.In the process of collective teaching of violin,it is of vital importance to connect theoretical teaching method with teaching practice,especially in the early-stage of teaching.Only if the early-stage education lay a solid foundation for students,can they improve their musical sense,accuracy in pitch,and violin technique,which will help students to have a brighter future in learning violin.This paper provided an innovative teaching plan for the discussed case studies by tracing back the origin of collective violin class and exploring the characteristics of the famous collective violin teaching textbooks both domestic and overseas.Equally important,this paper investigated the advantages and disadvantages of the collective violin teaching in order to use this method in a better way during daily teaching activities.Furthermore,by analyzing the possible behaviors of primary school children affected by psychological factors,a case teaching plan had been carried out.This paper conducted an experiment on the selective violin course on main campus and branch campus of primary school attached to Southwest University.Finally,this paper summarized practical strategies for dealing with differences in the teaching of collective violin class by comparing the commonalities and differences.Besides,this paper also provided theatrical basis and practical experience for further research.
