Research On The Cause Analysis And Classification Of Repeated Vagrants

Vagrants and beggars are one of the most vulnerable groups among the poor groups.To improve the problem of vagrants and beggars is an important part of poverty eradication and it is also the goal that our government strives to achieve.In the actual rescue process,a considerable number of aid recipients present the phenomenon of repeated requests for help.Some vagrants and beggars do not end their vagrancy after receiving assistance,but start a life of constantly entering relief stations for help,becoming a special group of vagrants and beggars-"repeat vagrants ".The group of repeat vagrants covers vagrant children,vagrant mental patients,professional beggars and "station runners" and other groups,which has attracted great attention from all walks of life,and scholars and experts conduct research on one of the groups of repeat vagrants,while the relief stations will explore corresponding intervention measures for different groups.As a kind of professional helping activity,social work is gradually introduced into the field of relief management to solve the problems of various groups of repeated vagrants.However,due to the lack of definitions and judgments on repeated wandering behavior,and unclear classification and selection mechanism for the types of repeated wanderings.In actual interventions,the efficiency of professional services is low,the effectiveness is short,the service strategy lacks pertinence,and the service effect is difficult to guarantee.Therefore,the author tries to use social work methods to research the causes of repeated vagrant problems,and provide a classification and selection mechanism for repeat vagrants,which can intervene in a more targeted manner to achieve the goal of precise poverty alleviation.The previous classification scheme of vagrants and beggars were mainly based on a subjective division of the superficial phenomenon of vagrants and beggars.Whether it is based on the distinction of restriction and protection,or for special groups or a certain standard division,it involves the lack of theoretical basis support and internal cause analysis.Therefore,in the actual social work professional intervention,problems such as fragmented professional services,lack of pertinence and effectiveness are reflected.Social work should respond to the problem of repeated vagrancy from more perspectives.Based on the result of questionnaire survey in the salvation administration station,in-depth interview and service cases of social work,the research describes and analyzes the integral features of the repeated homeless groups.Through the in-depth interviews,the reasons for the repeated wandering of vagrant beggars are analyzed from four aspects: individual,family,group and social factors.The study found that the individual causes of repeated homeless persons are mainly manifested in the three parts of individual physical health,individual mental health and individual rational choice.The family cause is manifested as family care dysfunction and the lack of family security function,and the group cause is manifested in school.The social reasons for the difficulty of integration and the fragility of interpersonal relationships are the exclusion of the labor market,the discontinuity of social support,and the exclusion of the security system.Through the analysis of the causes of repeated vagrants,we attempt to analyze them from the perspective of social workers' intervention in their personal improvement,and divide the repeated vagrants into four categories based on the two factors of personal ability and motivation.A good theoretical explanation framework is made for the reasons for repeated entry of different types of vagrants and beggars,so as to make a preliminary study on the subsequent classification and selection of repeated vagrants.On this basis,the author proposes a strategy for classified intervention in social work according to different causes.From the perspective of source governance and social work,it advocates the construction of social welfare for vagrants and beggars,promotes multi-subject cooperation,improves social work administration,and implements it.Systematic "whole person","whole process" and "whole area" social work services help repeat vagrants to obtain social support,reduce vagrant behavior,achieve social integration,and improve personal well-being.
