Spatial Production And Social Work Intervention Of Urban Homeless And Beggars

As a worldwide phenomenon,vagrancy exists with the development of human society,both ancient and modern.How to accurately find the vagrants and beggars on the street and help them return to the mainstream society is the focus and difficulty of vagrant relief outreach social work.Space production,as a new theoretical perspective,is of great significance to analyze and understand the daily life practice of Urban Vagrants and beggars,and to explore accurate rescue services.However,there are few empirical studies on space production of Urban Vagrants and beggars.Therefore,this paper starts from the space production of Urban Vagrants and beggars,analyzes the process and logic of their space production,and carries out accurate social work intervention services according to the law of their space production,so as to supplement the development and application of space production theory.Based on a long time series of field investigation,this paper investigates the vagrants and beggars in the five districts of Guangzhou city center by using the mixed research method of qualitative research and quantitative research.Using SPSS22.0 statistical software and Arc GIS10.3 analysis software,the following conclusions are obtainedFirst,the spatial distribution of Urban Vagrants and beggars is the result of a certain thrust.By exploring the hot spot space and hot spot time of different types of vagrants and beggars,we can understand the driving force of their spatial distribution and get the general pattern of vagrants and beggars,which helps to accurately select the location of outreach,standardize their behavior practice of space production,and provide reference for the implementation of rescue.Second,contrary to the general "blind flow",the spatial flow of Urban Vagrants and beggars is a rational choice based on the balance of advantages and disadvantages,and presents the trend of "avoiding poverty and getting rich" and "centripetal flow".By mastering the law of its flow,outreach social work helps to find the right time for effective intervention,link with other social forces,and innovate space production factors,so as to improve the accuracy and professionalism of rescue services.Third,spatial adaptation runs through their whole process from becoming divorced from mainstream society to entering the street.And this adaptation includes at least assimilation,adaptation and integration in terms of lifestyle,living space,social relations and social psychology.Social workers can find a breakthrough to help them return to the mainstream society in the process of their space adaptation,care for their weak points of space production,and implement classified relief services.Fourth,urban vagrants and beggars will also play their subjective initiative in the process of space adaptation,construct their space,and develop various survival strategies in the process of consultation with habitat.The construction of the living space includes the reconstruction of self-space,the misappropriation of public space,the cooperation of control space and the dependence of care space on vigilance.Therefore,the vagrant rescue service needs to face its initiative and initiative,provide them with the opportunity to participate in social activities and express their opinions,and empower their space production.It has to be admitted that such space production can not fundamentally change the marginal position of vagrants and beggars in the city.But only by understanding their daily life and paying attention to this informal production force can we konw how to design the optimum service,which can improve the quality of relief management services.
