A Case Study Of Satir Model Intervening In The Psychological Distress Of The Eldest Child Of The Second-born Family

With the introduction of the two-child policy,more and more families have a second child.In the process of the transition from the one-child family to the two-child family,there are many roles change,and the parents bear more responsibilities.When the only child becomes an older child,the care received should be divided into two parts.Under the influence of various reasons,especially family factors,some older children may suffer from psychological difficulties.In this paper,by combing the domestic literature on the problems related to second-child families and the psychological plight of the children of second-child families,we understand the psychological plight of the children of some second-child families and the reasons for the psychological plight after the implementation of the second-child policy in China.Visit in practice to need to step in the case of the family,the community help build relationships with egotism family,through interviews,observation and questionnaire method to collect more detailed information,such as understanding egotism family structure and communication mode,analyzing problems and needs,on the basis of the goal and plan together with the director and his family.The intervention was divided into three stages:the first stage was to improve the self-esteem of the client.First of all,change the subject's bias cognition,correctly view the problems existing in life and family,and understand the essence of the source of the problem;Secondly,to assist the client to establish a correct cognition and solve the problem in an appropriate and positive way;Finally,explore the client's own value,improve the sense of self-identity,from the personal level to help the client out of the psychological dilemma.The second stage is to correct the family's bad communication mode.Use the Satir mode skills to correct the family members' cognitive biases and help them realize the poor communication mode in the family;Then cultivate the family benign communication mode;Finally,we should consolidate the benign communication mode,establish a good communication atmosphere,and help the client out of the psychological dilemma from the family level.The third stage is to rebuild the family with positive new rules.First,help family members realize the hidden rules in the family and make the rules transparent.Then help family members realize the pros and cons of the rules;Finally,we use Satir's method of transforming rules to help them transform family rules and establish positive new rules.At the end of each stage,we will review the service process,reflect on the advantages and disadvantages of the service,and accumulate experience and lessons,so as to make more effective service work in the later stages.Based on the treatment and psychological distress in the family has proven effective satir model and the methods of case work involved in psychological dilemma in children and their families,and discuss on the basis of case practice satir mode in the applicability of the two-child family long children psychological dilemma,challenge,for the whole research process,research results and research existing shortcomings are summarized.
