A Case Study Of Satir Family Therapy Model Intervening In Parent-Child Conflict In Single-Parent Families

With the change of our society and people's concept of family and marriage,the number of single-parent families has increased year by year.Compared with normal families,children in single-parent families will passively lose part of fatherly or maternal love.The unstable family structure will lead to the lack of personal needs and communication mechanism in the family,which is more likely to lead to family parent-child conflict.Parentchild conflicts in the family affect the normal life of the family and even affect the growth of children.The practice of social work in the family helps to alleviate conflicts between parents and children in the family.The commonly used methods are structured family therapy and Satir family therapy.Based on professional background and personal interest,combined with professional theoretical knowledge of social work,the author combines the basic practical skills of social work with the methods of Satir's family treatment mode to intervene in the family case in this study.In this study,the literature review method was used in the preparation stage.Through combing and summarizing the literature,the author comprehensively understood the Satir family treatment model and laid the foundation for social work intervention.In the stage of family intervention,the author first conducts one-on-one interviews with family members to understand the life and learning environment and family situation of the client,analyze the causes of parent-child conflict in the case,and then use the Satir family therapy method,intervening in the client's family from the aspects,such as improving selfesteem and changing the communication methods,finally bring the members of the client's family back to a consistent communication posture on the surface and restored a good parentchild relationship.By summing up the experience of this study,the author believes that although the Satir family therapy model can effectively alleviate parent-child conflict in families,it is after all an "imported goods",and only the Satir family therapy model combined with the cultural background of Chinese society can better provide services for Chinese families.At the same time,the author also gives relevant suggestions for solving such problems in this research,and provides relevant experience for the development and maturity of family social work in China.
