Casework Intervention Research On The Construction Of Social Support Network For Severely Physically Disabled Persons

Disabled physical characteristics usually lead to the severe physical disability has less social resources,coupled with the severe behavioral ability and lifelong need for others to take care of,so their ability to maintain a social support network is also weak,leading to the severe physical disability of the social support network is usually weak.The wider the scope of the social support network,the more social resources an individual can access,and the better able he or she is to cope with the difficulties and challenges encountered.For severely physically disabled people who live at the bottom of society and lack social vitality and social resources,it is particularly important and necessary to build a sound social support network.This paper takes the community referral cases received by Jinjiang District Social Care and Assistance Center as the research object.Based on the particularity of the research object,the case work method was selected to intervene.Based on social support theory and energy enhancing theory,the status quo,problems and needs of the social support network of the research object were understood through the analysis of the interview results,field observation and the filling results of Xiao Shuanshui Social Support Rating Scale.At the same time,in order to assist the research subjects to rebuild their social support network,the research subjects received regular subsidies from the government for the subsistence allowance,the relationship between the research subjects and their neighbors and peer groups was improved.The perfect social support network provides more spiritual,economic and material support for the research subjects,and enhances the research subjects' confidence and hope in life.Through a deep reflection on the process of intervention,social workers should do the following work in the following service: Increase of medical rehabilitation knowledge and links to resources practice skills training,promote the heavy body family barrier-free facilities for the disabled environment transformation,promote the development of severe limb disabled policy information proprietary platform and publicity,and explore the new mode of severe limb that occupy the home for the disabled employment,therefore,the social support network of severely physically disabled people can be improved fundamentally,so as to improve the adverse situation faced by severely physically disabled people.
