The new curriculum standards for ordinary high schools(2017 edition)proposes to "cultivate students’ core geographic literacy".Core literacy pays more attention to students’ practical inquiry ability,so learning and development in practice is the requirement of modern society for geography education.Geography classroom activities in senior high school are conducive to the formation of students’ core qualities.In this study,the author divided high school geography classroom activities into six types: map making,model making,geography experiment,role playing,geography debate and game competition.By conducting various forms of geography classroom activity,will play an important role in development of student’s body and mind,embodied in the following six aspects,namely,active classroom atmosphere,strengthening the link theory with practice,enhance understanding and memory effect,cultivate the ability to find and solve problems,to enjoy the learning process and to develop to explore the spirit of cooperation.In this paper,by using the method of questionnaire and observation,after understanding the current situation of high school geography classroom activities,deeply analyzes the problems existing in the current high school geography classroom activities,in its specific performance,teachers’ group activities,students’ subjectivity is not prominent,fewer activities form a single and students participation is low,the structure is not complete,teachers design activities content is not suitable,weak consciousness of reflection between teachers and students,teachers and students activities consciousness is not strong,the teachers and students lack of ability.In view of these problems,the author believes that teachers and students should first change their thinking and establish a new activity awareness,in order to improve the discipline quality of both sides,teachers should carefully design activities,and improve the classroom teaching environment.Students draw pictures and compete in games to cultivate innovative and divergent thinking,make models by brainstorming and carry out experiments in groups to understand the principles of memory knowledge,play various roles flexibly and debate with life to enhance their sense of life experience and critical thinking ability.Finally,the effectiveness of the implementation strategy of high school geography classroom activities is verified by activity cases.The results show that the implementation strategy of geography classroom activities in senior high school can help deepen students’ understanding and memory of geography knowledge,cultivate students’ spirit of exploration and cooperation,and promote students’ all-round development. |
