| Geography classroom activities are an important part of modern geography classrooms,which make the geography class lively and practical,and can effectively cultivate students’ basic geographic ability.In order to meet the needs of international cooperation in geography education,junior high school geography classrooms should combine the creation of geography classroom activities with the content of junior high school geography textbooks in various countries that conform to China’s national conditions and junior high school students’ learning conditions,so as to promote students’ subjectivity,innovation,practical skills and comprehensiveness.Comprehensive development of quality.Geography classroom activities not only pay attention to the problems in the students’ learning process and the students’ knowledge acquisition,but also help students to form comprehensive thinking ability and establish the concept of man-land coordination.The purpose of this study is to optimize the geography classroom activities in junior high schools in my country by using the British geography textbook GCSE geography.This paper expounds the research background,research purpose and significance,research status at home and abroad,etc.,and defines the concepts and types of teaching material activity system and geography classroom activities,as well as the relevant theoretical basis.This paper investigates and analyzes the current situation of my country’s junior high school geography classroom activities by means of literature materials,interviews,and questionnaires.This paper expounds the curriculum standard and general situation of the textbook GCSE geography,the British junior high school geography textbook,the surface system and its internal relationship,focusing on the introduction and analysis of the textbook activity system,and interprets the types of activity columns,activity types and activity characteristics of the British textbook.The article takes the activity content "Should rainforest be developed or protected" in the lesson "Brazil" in Chapter 9,Section 2 of the People’s Education Edition Geography for Grade 7(Volume 2)as a teaching design case,combining news broadcasts and role-playing,and producing Classroom activity evaluation scale,optimize the design of classroom teaching activities,and provide reference for junior high school geography teachers when designing junior high school geography classroom activities.By summarizing and analyzing the characteristics of the classroom activity system of GCSE geography,this paper puts forward suggestions for the compilation of geography textbooks and optimization classroom activities in our country’s junior high school.In terms of classroom activity evaluation and other aspects,we should construct teaching activities that conform to the learning laws of middle school students in China. |
