With the continuous advancement of curriculum reform,cultivating students’ geographical core literacy has become the core content of geography education.The new curriculum standard “Geography curriculum standard of general high school(2017 edition)”has put forward the curriculum idea of “Cultivating students’ geography core literacy”,in order to carry out the basic task of establishing morality and cultivating people,which mainly includes four geography core literacy.Among them,the cultivation of students’ geography practical ability can greatly improve their sense of action and ability of action,and the cultivation of students’ geography practical ability has become an important idea of the current new geography curriculum reform.This paper introduces the current situation of geographical field research activities by means of literature research,and defines the relevant geographical concepts.Based on the case study of geography field research activities in senior high school and the reality of geography teaching in Lantian County,this paper probes into the design and implementation strategy of geography field research activities through case analysis.Based on the tourism resources with Lantian County characteristics,the Wangshunshan National Forest Park was selected as the site for the design and implementation of geographic field exploration activities,it is suggested that the design principles of teaching cases for geographical field research activities should be based on the principles of curriculum standards,teaching materials,implementing the principles of cultivating geographical practical force and the principles of adapting to local conditions,pertinence and diversity of evaluation,it puts forward three practical strategies of guiding,rational division of Labor,cooperation,dialectical thinking and innovative problem-solving,and to guide Wang Shunshan Forest Park geographical field research activities carried out smoothly.The study concluded that:In the case design of field research activities,the location and content of field research activities should be determined according to the curriculum standards,geography teaching materials,students’ learning conditions and the characteristics of local geographical environment.In the early stage,the teachers checked out the site of the exploration activities,assessed the convenience and safety of the exploration sites,and thoroughly eliminated the potential safety problems to ensure the safety of students and the smooth conduct of the exploration activities.According to the cognitive basis of students at this stage to determine the appropriate sites,design investigation routes and investigation content.Secondly,in the process of case design,teachers should combine the students’ existing cognitive level and characteristics,and make a full prediction of the possible findings of the design.On this basis,continuously optimize the teaching design of inquiry activity.The last part is the conclusion and reflection stage,which is an indispensable part after the inquiry activity is completed.It can not only help to perfect this inquiry activity scheme,but also provide reference for the design of the next case.Geography field exploration is an effective way to cultivate students’ core competence of geography practice.Through the process and results of this field research,we can see that students learning in a real geographical situation can greatly arouse students’ interest and motivation in learning,showing a different mood from indoor learning.In the course of field research activities,students are independent,cooperative and inquiring,and they think and discuss a problem in groups,and finally solve the problem,Students can also summarize their learning experience and make PPT to share with other students.Thus,through the geographical field exploration activities can greatly arouse students’ interest in learning,improve students’ desire to explore geographical knowledge,and satisfy students’ curiosity.In the real situation of education,to cultivate students’ ability of geographical practice.Guided by the design and implementation of the relevant design principles,implementation and evaluation strategies,combining the experience of predecessors and the study interests of students,with the theme of “Appreciating the natural scenery and understanding the principles of geography”,a field research activity was held in Wangshunshan national forest park,Lantian County,to test the feasibility of the strategy and accumulate relevant experience in field research activities,it provides a reference for the continuous optimization of field exploration activities.
