Reading teaching is an important part of high school Chinese teaching.The quality of reading teaching plays a decisive role in the quality of the whole Chinese teaching.How to improve the efficiency of Chinese reading teaching and change the inefficient situation of traditional reading teaching has always been a problem that Chinese teachers continue to explore.Text teaching interpretation is a key factor in reading teaching.After the introduction of the new curriculum standard,it is also one of its goals to cultivate students' text interpretation ability.The use of teaching methods is also related to the success of a class and is an indispensable part of reading teaching.The interpretation of teaching texts and the application of teaching methods in Chinese reading teaching is a problem that needs to be solved urgently,and the proposal of relevance theory provides a theoretical basis for Chinese reading teaching.This thesis provides an overview of relevance theory,which is a supplement to the background of previous studies on relevance theory,and has developed and improved the application of relevance theory to high school Chinese reading teaching.Pay attention to the importance of Chinese reading teaching methods,put forward corresponding strategies for the problems of high school Chinese teachers' reading teaching process,and strive to promote the practical development of reading teaching from the theory of relevance,and expand the diversity of teaching methods in the previous reading teaching research.In addition,from the interpretation of teaching texts to the application of teaching methods to the answering of test reading questions,it is an overall process,which is conducive to the overall development of students' thinking and promotes the organic unity of teaching,learning,and examination.According to the content of the research in this thesis,a combinatio n of theoretical research and practical research is adopted,and the literature research method,case analysis method,action research method and interview method are used.It mainly includes the following contents: In the introduction part,analyze the research background of the selected topic,research summary,research significance and methods.The first chapter is an overview of relevance theory and reading teaching.It summarizes the definition of relevance theory,followed by relevance theory and high school Chinese reading teaching,expounding the definition of modern high school Chinese reading teaching,teaching text interpretation,teaching methods and relevance theory in Chinese reading teaching.The third chapter analyzes the current situation of high school Chinese reading teaching,the current problems of high school Chinese reading teaching,and the analysis of the causes of problems in reading teaching,focusing on the three aspects of teachers,students and the education system.The fourth chapter puts forward the strategy of applying relevance theory to the study of Chinese reading teaching in high school.Under the guidance of relevance theory "best relevance","cognitive context",and "explicit reasoning",the text interpretation and teaching methods of high school Chinese reading teaching are explored.The fifth chapter is based on the relevance theory,designing high school Chinese reading teaching,and reflecting on the high school Chinese reading teaching under the guidance of this theory,as well as some enlightenments from it.This article starts from the point of convergence between relevance theory and high school Chinese reading teaching,and attempts to transform complex theories into flexible and specific teaching methods.In order to guide the completion of high school Chinese teachers' reading teaching,guide students to use related methods,and improve students' reading ability and the development of Chinese core literacy.
