The quality of reading teaching is related to the overall quality of Chinese education.The course nature and course objectives of Chinese subjects need to be realized through reading teaching,and the teaching of literary text reading is one of the key links.At present,there are few systematic studies exploring Chinese reading teaching based on pragmatics.From the perspective of relevance theory,the reading of literary texts is a process of explicit-inference and a process of finding relevance.According to the cognitive characteristics of discourse comprehension,the reading comprehension of literary texts can be divided into three levels: explicatures understanding layer,strong implicatures understanding layer,and weak implicatures understanding layer.The three understanding layers are progressive and deeper.The first chapter of the thesis briefly describes the core concepts of relevance theory,and explains the reading process of literary texts from the perspective of relevance theory,and divides the comprehension process of literary texts into three understanding layers.The second chapter is an interpretation of literary texts based on relevance theory.This chapter pays more attention to the personality of literary texts.The text interpretation of each understanding layer is to select several representative and separate elaborations from the four styles of poetry,prose,novel and drama,but this does not mean that there are no commonalities between each genre.The third chapter is some reading teaching strategies based on relevance theory.The reading teaching of the three understanding layers is carried out according to the methods of promoting students’ autonomous learning,driving students’ research learning,and encouraging students to explore learning.The fourth chapter is a complete instructional design scheme based on relevance theory,and provides gradient reading teaching according to three understanding layers.This paper adopts two research methods,literature study and case study,to discuss the reading teaching of Chinese literature texts in high school based on relevance theory.This research will help to enrich the reading teaching theory of literary texts,standardize the reading teaching mode of literary texts,and provide new ideas and strategies for the reading teaching of literary texts.
