The new edition of high school Chinese textbook is one of the most representative Chinese textbooks in the Republic of China.It was edited by song wenhan and zhang wenzhi and published by zhonghua book company in 1937.This textbook consists of 6 volumes,which are edited according to the revised curriculum standards of Chinese literature of senior high school issued by the ministry,and linked with the new edition of junior school Chinese textbook by zhonghua book company.Based on the analysis of the quantity,dynasty and genre of the selected classical Chinese articles in the new edition of high school Chinese textbook,this paper further summarizes the characteristics of the selected classical Chinese articles.The selection of text attaches importance to the cultivation of students' writing ability,in addition to the selection of model essay,in each volume of the text is attached to the article rules,from the word,word,sentence,paragraph,the whole article and other aspects of the topic discussed,guide students how to read writing.The selected articles have rich themes and pay close attention to the reality.The textbook not only selects ancient classical Chinese works with diverse themes such as accomplishment and scholarship as models,but also selects several classical Chinese works and translations of modern writers,which shows the wide range of selected articles and is closely related to the society at that time.The arrangement of selected texts in textbooks follows the development of literary history,so that students can clearly understand the rules and characteristics of the internal changes of literary style.The annotation arrangement of selected articles is also one of the features of the textbook,which is divided into three parts: the solution of the question,the author's outline and the annotation.On the basis of studying the characteristics of content andarrangement of selected Chinese texts in the new edition of high school Chinese textbook,the author explores the value and limitation of the selected Chinese texts in the textbook,and points out that the textbook has certain enlightening effect on the compilation and selection of Chinese texts in senior high schools.First of all,the selection of the text should consider the students' ability to accept,so as to help teachers to teach,and help students to learn,in order to better achieve the purpose of teaching.Secondly,the essay selection system should be improved and optimized to improve the students' independent learning ability and stimulate their interest in learning classical Chinese.Third,the selection should pay attention to the development of the history of literature,so that students can not only understand the ideological content and artistic characteristics of literary works in each era,but also clearly understand the development of the history of literature.Fourthly,the essay selection should reflect the skills of reading and writing,cultivate students' writing ability and improve their writing level.The author makes active exploration and research on the selection of classical Chinese articles in the new edition of high school Chinese textbook,in the hope of providing little enlightenment on the arrangement of classical Chinese articles in the new edition of high school Chinese textbooks.
