| Under the background of new curriculum reform,geography teaching puts more emphasis on cultivating students’ core literacy of geography and improving students’ ability to solve practical problems by comprehensively applying knowledge.As an important component of geography knowledge,the concept of geography is the cornerstone for students to learn geography knowledge,and deep learning is one of the effective ways to cultivate students’ core literacy of geography.Therefore,carrying out geography concept teaching based on deep learning theory is helpful for students to truly master the conn otation and essence of geography concept knowledge,deeply understand geographical phenomena and geographical laws,and is of great significance to promoting students’ deep learning of geography subject knowledge and the formation of students’ core literacy of geography.Based on the theory of deep learning,this paper uses literature research,interview,questionnaire survey and experimental research methods to explore the teaching of geography concepts and puts forward the teaching strategies of geography concepts,in order to provide reference for the geography concept teaching of front-line geography teachers.The main research contents and conclusions are as follows:(1)Using the literature research to deep learning,and the geographical concept teaching research results at home and abroad were reviewed and comb summary,analyze the deep learning and connotation and characteristics of geographical concept teaching,found the deep learning and geographic concept has the following common characteristics: all attaches great importance to the students pay attention to advance knowledge,knowledge generation process,emphasize the students construct the knowledge structure system.(2)Questionnaire survey and interview were used to investigate the stat us quo of geography concept teaching and deep learning for front-line geography teachers and students.It was found that teachers mainly had the following problems in the teaching of geography concept: Some teachers lack the concept teaching of geography in the classroom,some teachers fail to fully contact the students’ "pre-concept" in the concept teaching,some teachers do not pay enough attention to the construction of students’ concept knowledge system,some teachers need to improve the teaching methods of geography concept,and the diversity of the evaluation methods of concept knowledge.In terms of deep learning of geographical concepts,students mainly have problems such as lack of driving force in learning geographical concepts,lack of attention t o structured geographical concept knowledge and weak ability to transfer and apply geographical concept knowledge.(3)In view of the problems existing in the current situation of deep learning of geography concepts by teachers and students,and combinin g the formation process of geography concepts and deep learning,this paper puts forward specific geography concept teaching strategies.This strategy main according to the geographical concept formation is the geographical concept is introduced,geographical concept phase,geographical concept construction phase,the geographical concept expounds application stage,combined with depth in all phases of the learning theory put forward concrete teaching strategy,provide theory reference for geography concept teaching in classroom,in order to promote the student geography knowledge deep learning.(4)In order to test the effectiveness of the geography concept teaching strategy in this paper to promote students’ in-depth learning of geography,this paper adopts the comparative experiment method to carry out teaching practice in two classes of Grade One.The results show that the geography concept teaching strategies proposed in this paper can effectively stimulate students’ interest in learning geography concepts to a certain extent,help students construct a knowledge system of geography concepts,train students’ thinking ability in geography learning to a certain extent,and promote students’ in-depth learning of geography.To sum up,the geography concept teaching strategy based on deep learning theory can effectively improve students’ interest in geography learning in teaching practice,cultivate and exercise students’ thinking ability in geography learning,and strengthen students’ ability to transfer and apply geography knowledge.In the future,teaching practice should be strengthened and evaluation system should be perfected to provide guidance and reference for promoting geography concept teaching and students’ in-depth learning of geography concept. |
