The "Compulsory Education Mathematics Curriculum Standard(2011 Edition)" emphasizes that "independent exploration,cooperative communication and hands-on practice are important ways for students to learn mathematics".This requires us to maximize the teaching method of "active learning characterized by inquiry" by changing the mode of education and teaching methods.The content of "Figures and Geometry" is relatively abstract,and it is difficult for students to understand and master systematically.The 5E teaching model based on inquiry-based teaching focuses on guiding students to explore independently,cooperate and exchange and construct knowledge independently,which can construct efficient and orderly classroom teaching and promote the construction of students' knowledge system.Therefore,the author combines the 5E teaching model with the "graphics and geometry" of elementary school mathematics for research,and adopts the 5E teaching model for classroom teaching to improve the effectiveness of teaching.First,according to the requirements of the new curriculum standards,the important position of "graphics and geometry",the problems of "graphics and geometry" teaching,and the teaching ideas of the 5E teaching model,the research background is determined;The status quo of the teaching of "and geometry" and the connotation,teaching steps,characteristics and theoretical basis of the 5E teaching model are sorted out;combined with the characteristics of the "graphics and geometry" course and the teaching advantages of the5 E teaching model The feasibility of "geometry" teaching;and for the following teaching practice,the 5E teaching mode should be followed in the teaching of "graphics and geometry" in elementary school mathematics and the teaching strategies of each link.Secondly,using SPSS22.0 to analyze the mid-term test scores of the experimental class and the control class,it is determined that there is no significant difference in the learning level of the two classes.According to the teaching progress of the L school in Z city,it is finally determined to be in the sixth unit of the fifth grade."Polygon Area" started teaching practice,used the classroom observation table to record students' classroom performance and behavior,analyzed the impact of this model on students'classroom behavior through the observed data,and used SPSS22.0 to analyze the student'sunit test scores to understand 5E The influence of the application of the teaching mode in the teaching of"graphics and geometry"in elementary school mathematics on students'performance.Finally,through analyzing the data,the following conclusions are drawn: First,the 5E teaching mode is feasible in the teaching of "graphics and geometry" in elementary school mathematics;second,the application of 5E teaching mode in the teaching of "graphics and geometry" in elementary school mathematics is feasible.It helps to stimulate students' interest in learning and improve their participation in the classroom;third,the application of 5E teaching mode in the "graphics and geometry" teaching of elementary school mathematics helps students understand and apply knowledge;fourth,5E teaching mode The application in the teaching of "graphics and geometry" in elementary school mathematics can improve students' mathematical thinking ability to a certain extent.In addition,the author also reflected on the teaching practice,summarized the problems in the teaching practice,and put forward corresponding teaching suggestions for the problems.
