Hong Kong and the mainland share the same origin,but in the special historical and cultural background,due to the long-term interaction between Chinese and Western cultures,Hong Kong is not only influenced by the excellent traditional Chinese culture,but also branded with the distinctive mark of western culture.At the same time,Hong Kong's spirit of autonomy and openness is compatible with other mainland cultures.This kind of cultural autonomy is also reflected in the cause of education.Chinese textbooks are an important carrier to reflect the differences and identity of Chinese education between Hong Kong and the mainland.By looking up the literature on the comparative study of Chinese Textbooks between the mainland and Hong Kong,the author finds that there are few literature on the direct study of the comparison of the selection system of junior high school Chinese Textbooks between the mainland and Hong Kong“ This paper compares the Chinese textbook for compulsory education compiled by the Ministry of Education(2018,hereinafter referred to as "the Ministry edition")and the Chinese language of Kai Si(2014,hereinafter referred to as "the Kai Si edition")in Hong Kong,and analyzes the text selection system of the two sets of textbooks.In the comparative study of the text selection system of Chinese textbooks,the differences and similarities of Chinese education between Hong Kong and the mainland are more and more exposed.This paper analyzes and compares the text selection of Chinese Textbooks between Hong Kong and the mainland in depth and systematically,summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of the textbooks of the two places,and puts forward some practical suggestions for the compilation of the Ministry edition textbooks,which will help to promote the development of Chinese education in Hong Kong and the mainland The mutual exchange,reference and improvement of education will also help to build a scientific,comprehensive and humanistic text selection system.This paper studies the text selection system of Chinese Textbooks in the two places.This paper attempts to analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the two editions of textbooks from the perspectives of text selection content and value orientation,and puts forward some optimization suggestions combined with the requirements of curriculum standards.This paper is divided into four chapters,mainly from the four parts of research and discussion,the first chapter,based on theoretical knowledge,summarizes and analyzes the two junior high school Chinese textbooks and the formulation standard of textbooks,discusses the compilation concept and presentation mode of textbooks in the two places,and then compares the layout structure of the text selection system from the macro view,so as to make the preparatory work for the analysis of the text selection system.In the focus of this paper,namely chapter two and chapter three,first of all,the paper makes a comparative study on the number,genre,author and the same content of the selected texts.Secondly,it makes a deep comparative study on the similarities and differences of the value orientation of the selected texts of the textbooks of the two places from the three dimensions of cultural orientation,moral orientation and life orientation,and summarizes the characteristics of the respective selection systems of the textbooks of the two places Based on the excellent experience of Qisi textbook in Hong Kong,this paper completes the fourth chapter of thinking and suggestions on the improvement of the textbook selection system.
