Labor is the root of survival and the source of human beings' creation of social material wealth and spiritual wealth.Labor education is an important part of the system of moral,intellectual,physical,aesthetic and labor education.It plays an important role in the implementation of the fundamental task of moral education and the practice of socialist core values.Schools are the main front of labor education.Under the background of the new era,promoting the combination of education and labor,strengthening the labor education of students,and striving to improve the labor quality of students are important links to cultivate and enhance students' comprehensive ability,an effective way for students to receive knowledge education,an important way to cultivate students' aesthetic cognitive ability,and a necessary means to cultivate and shape teenagers' sound personality,What's more,it is the internal need to cultivate new people in the era of national rejuvenation.Therefore,giving full play to the important role of labor education in the overall development of students is of far-reaching significance to the growth of students and the development of the country.High school students are in a special period of transition from teenagers to adults.Strengthening labor education is an important means to promote them to form correct values,world outlook and outlook on life.Due to the rapid development of social economy,the continuous change of social division of labor,the gradual separation of labor and education,and the inertia of exam-oriented education in reality,there are many problems in labor education,such as weak labor concept,one-sided labor cognition,wrong labor education,and dilution of labor value,which make labor education weakened and softened.Therefore,we must strengthen labor education,promote the spirit of labor among students,establish a correct concept of labor,guide students to have certain labor knowledge and skills,and promote students to work hard,honestly and creatively.Based on the theoretical basis and practical objectives of labor education in ordinary high schools,this study adopts the methods of literature review and questionnaire survey,grasps the main types,educational functions and focuses of labor education in ordinary high schools,investigates the current situation of labor education in ordinary high schools,and analyzes the prominent problems existing in current labor education,The reasons for the problems are that the supervision of local education authorities needs to be further improved,the concept of school labor education is relatively weak,the concept of family labor education is misplaced,and the labor quality of students is relatively lack.In view of the subjective and objective reasons,this paper puts forward some strategies to optimize the labor education of ordinary high school,such as giving play to the leading role of school,strengthening the basic role of family,paying attention to the support role of society,and highlighting the main role of students.
