| Novel is a kind of narrative text genre with fictional plot.It is a literary theme that depicts the characters and environment through narrative writing to express social life and basic emotional tone.This feature of the novel plays an important role in the cultivation of primary school students’ language knowledge construction,thinking development and aesthetics.But there are few novels involved in primary school texts,so it is necessary to expand students’ novel reading after class.In order to carry out novel reading in depth and avoid blindness,entertainment and superficial reading,Chinese teachers should give necessary guidance.Therefore,on the basis of understanding the current situation of students’ extracurricular novel reading,this study analyzes the shortcomings of teachers’ guidance in extracurricular novel reading,and puts forward some strategies to improve the current situation.This paper includes the following four parts.The introduction part mainly introduces the research background,research significance,research status and research methods.This part aims at making sure that the basic ideas and direction of this study are clear.The first chapter is the definition of core concepts and theoretical basis.The definition of the core concept mainly defines the senior grade of primary school novels,extracurricular novel reading guidance and so on.The theoretical basis includes the basic requirements of Chinese Curriculum Standards at Compulsory Education Stage and the enlightenment of Chinese Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition).The second chapter analyzes the existing problems and causes of extracurricular novel reading in senior primary school.The survey found that there are some problems in the current situation of extracurricular novel reading in senior primary school,including the poor quality and randomness of extracurricular novel reading in primary school;students don’t pay attention to the artistry of novel language in extracurricular reading;students don’t get enough artistic techniques of novel text description;students don’t pay close attention to the cultivation of novel narrative and thinking ability in reading;students don’t pay much attention to novel aesthetics Question.The specific reasons are as follows: teachers lack of guidance on the opportunity of extracurricular novel reading;Chinese teachers ignore the guidance of language construction in novel reading;teachers’ weak sense of style affects their attention to the details of novels;teachers lack effective methods to train students’ thinking;academic evaluation and students’ limited cognitive ability affect the aesthetic education of novels.The third chapter,put forward the implementation of primary school senior extracurricular novel reading guidance strategy.Specifically,Chinese teachers should strengthen the quality control of extracurricular reading novels;guide students’ language construction combined with the characteristics of novels;guide students to pay attention to the details of novel style;cultivate students’ thinking ability combined with the main narrative line of novels;strengthen the aesthetic education function of novels. |
